HAVE SAME THING EXCEPT HE (srry caps) didnt send me anywhere. and i beat your 4 in a batch.
Seriously, why would you put a caps lock disclaimer in rather than simply backspacing and retyping the five words you had entered in caps? I really have to shake my head sometimes at the lack of effort some people exhibit.
...Oh, and here's one that *SHOULD* give FDX, but does not:
Mission Giver: Commander Samuel Winters (ESD)
Misison: Patrol the Kassae Sector (Lt 7)
SubMission: Secure Cernan System
Scan some Wreakage.
FDC Value: 0 FDX.
For what it's worth, I reported it as a bugged mission, tkt #968,445.
Support's response to my bug report:

In looking into this issue it appears to be working as designed. We are going to move this ticket to our bug reports so we can look into whether this mission should be giving diplomatic experience, but at this time we are not going to be granting any. Thank you for playing Star Trek Online.
I'm impressed I got a personal response, instead of the usual generic one. So that was nice. I hope they take it seriously and add that. Not that I care if this alt gets the "missing" 10 points, it just doesn't make sense that the third of these exact same land and scan missions, while progressing through the beginning part of the game, wouldn't give FDX, but the first two do.
Honestly, I get the feeling that one person did some of the DXP triggers and one did another half, and that they didn't coordinate what they were doing.
Great guide, thank you for you efforts. Wondering, and this is just purely aesthetic, could you update your pictures of the Cardassian Guls? Cryptic fixed the error of calling them Captains, and both Guls have a name.
With hours of time spent farming the DXP I have, I can confirm that the following missions do give DXP
Aid the Planet
Non-Combat Ship Investigations
Non-Combat Planet Investigations
Any mission where you restore something on the planet, ie. life support, or clear out radiation, running around switching this or that on.
The minute one of your officers warn you of ships in the area, or species beaming down, diplomacy ends, may as well warp out of there. Also, it seems the rule of thumb is, not including the initial scan, if you scan 4 or less objects DXP is awarded, scan 5 no DXP.

Generally I think you're right on the explore missions, however it keeps changing, and until they settle on one way or another I'm not going to put an firm rule for them into the guide.
How can I find the information to page two on the Ancestral Sin mission? I have talked with every historians, and I have searched almost the whole map. Is it a bug on this mission? I want to finish this mission.
Any help or direction to how I can fin out where the last historian is will be greatly appreciated.
You don't have to say where he/she is, just give me a nudge in the right direction.
Edit: I looked at the map on the guide. I have talked to everyone that is marked on it.

When you talk to people, read what they say.
When you talk to the Romulan, look closely at what options he gives you. The mission is not bugged, don't worry.
10 DXP given for the 'Patrol the pico system' mission as part of the Vulcan Sector missions (where you escort the freighter through the asteroids to a base)
