Thanks SO MUCH for all your support, and we'll see you in-game!
All we have in terms of exploration is: scan these anomalies, beam down to planets and scan stuff, and its getting a little boring.
Ok... scanning is fine... scanning is good.... but how about scanning the right stuff?
Whatever happened with investigating stars, pulsars, black holes and wromholes? or what about Charting Nebula's.... what about all that stuff that is actually Star Trek!?
In fact as far as i remember there is not a SINGLE mission in all of STO that even puts us remotely close to a star.
In addition, could we also please have a much wider variety of random station environments?
Planet surfaces are pretty diverse but every single beaming to a space station mission is the SAME basic two themes all over again, being Memory Alpha look-alike and Klingonish stuff.
We need different things and more alien looking places.
Couldn't say it better. Almost every alien station on an asteroid has the same layout/corridor setting. As a graphic designer student, i can say, it's not that difficult normally.. Just change the corridor colors or luminosity of lights, its not much, but it already changes a bit.. We need new corridor themes
However gameplay-wise how can you reassure me that what you want introduced wouldn't be some sort of "Press "F" to Continue" mission like all the others?
How would you have a "Black Hole charting" mission without simply rolling in near the event horizon, pressing "f" to scan it and being done?
I think when we're looking for missions like this, we need to have some sort of solution to the mind numbing "f" spamming.
They DO offer the option to let you explore every single map before you leave. If it's simply a matter of taking in the ambiance, we can do that!
I want what you want, but I don't see the logistics of it and need help recommending something to the developers that isn't more of the same.
