even if youd take away cloak, universal BO stations on the BoP, dual cannons on cruisers and carriers, they still beat those feds.
But seriously FEDS ARE OP!!

HA HA thats funny, yet when i roll a fed why then does it take 6 klingerros to put me under? And I usually take 2 with me on the way out.

Feds learn early to support themselves through pve hence our problem. until they learn the game better,,,tis what it tis.

Just need some missions where support are nessecary.. I know some people will cry and moan because they cant solo it (weird notion in a MMO tbh), but until they do, Feds will not learn to support eachother, until they have been keel'd a couple 100 times in PvP.

Just need a couple of STFs at lower ranks

I got news for you.The Feds have been getting keeled 100's of times in pvp and still wont support each other.I go in with one fleet mate and we last longer, and do more damage because we support each other.I get gangbanged BECAUSE im a threat on the field. If i wasnt a threat then players wouldnt be group firing targets. Both sides do it.But because pvp prevails early in Klingon play, feds play catch up.

What's wrong with Feds? What's wrong with Klinks? What's wrong with the queues? What's wrong with ground PvP? What's wrong with space PvP? What's wrong with BO and Captain powers? What's wrong with the glitches, bugs, and server issues? What's wrong with the bugged STF's and fleet actions? Lots of questions...

Maybe we should be asking what's wrong with Cryptic?!

THink about it... every new player to STO starts off as FED and very rarely do they even roll a klink. Klinks play klings specifically for PvP. This all makes perfect sense... not sure what people don't understand about THIS.

The ones I play against in the BG range have been very challenging 50% of the time, at least over the weekend. Most do seem to use teamwork more than they have in the past and it has made for a fun PuG match from time to time.

In a recent PvP match in the Cracked Planet Arena...

I was playing my Klingon Captain. Her rank was LT9. Got the prompt to join the arena, did so.

Turns out that only another Klingon and I were the only ones who joined... against 5 Feds.

After a few flybys where we were summarily handed our warp coils, the other Klingon player and I started talking strategy. Score at this point was about 6:3 Fed favor. We picked our target (lowest level Fed in the group). Lone wolf attempts to take him out were successful but we died a lot. Score got to 12:6 Fed Favor. We were getting disenchanted with this match.

We talked more and opted to hunt like wolves. We hid and recharged fully. Then we cloaked. We went looking for our prey (Fed lowbie). We cruised in together, just outside of 10km. Together we'd punch 100% throttle and uncloak. We'd unload on our target which would typically kill him or weaken him such that we'd pick him off with a couple more shots.

Upon defeating him, we'd split and take off. This forced the Feds to split up. We figured out that they needed to 3 ships to reliably take down one of us. So one of us was getting away. The other (usually was me they chose to chase) had to fly like a madman to avoid getting blown up. Thankfully there's a lot of cover on this map and using evasive maneuvers helps one fly the surface of an asteroid to break LOS rather well.

After getting away, we'd hide & recharge and then rinse & repeat. This tactic angered the Feds. They started going lone wolf to try to track us. After a few spankings, they played lone wolf a lot more conservatively. Had the Science vessel trying to track me one trip. He did really well. Flew the same path I did but he never found me... at least until I uncloaked behind him and lit him up. His buddies got there too late. I was already flying away and behind an asteroid while the science vessel was doing a great impersonation of a fireball / explosion. I clicked my cloak on and vanished.

Fast forward to a few minutes later and the score is now 12:12 all tied up. The Feds have moved their furball out beyond the gates leading into the arena. Good move on their part. No cover out there. No way for us to hide behind stuff. Creative thinking but ultimately futile. We were high on success and we simply cruised in, took out the target and then beat feet back to cover to recharge.

Score moved to 13:13 as my team mate got the kill but was killed on the way out.

A couple of minutes later, four of the Federation players quit the match because getting kills against us is too hard and the Klingons were rapidly looking to win the match.

Ultimately, the Fed player who stayed behind was an excellent sport. He told us his team had left and he wanted to get this over with. He chose to stay and fight. He fought with honor and dignity. Were he a Klingon, his place in Sto'Vo'Kor would have been assured. But alas, he was but Federation and could not stand against the might of two Klingon war ships.

=====

Listos: Work out tactics with your team if you want to win. Don't and you lose. I've been on both sides of this in the same match. It sucks to lose but honestly, the only one you have to blame is your self and your team for failing to use good tactics. If you are using good tactics but still lose, then perhaps your level of skill isn't goood enough *yet*. Practice more and expect to lose a lot.

Failure breeds Success. You learn from failure, not from success. Besides, the Feds really ought to have some of the missions Klingons get. Seriously, I have a mission that requires me to die 25 times in space and another mission that is die 25 times on ground. Both require that I die to player captains. From the get-go, you are taught (Klingon side) that you **WILL** die a lot. You get it (the fear of dying) out of your system and move into enjoying the game.

My ticket to Sto'Vo'Kor is assured.

Fact- the feds in my experience tend to not play aggressivley or independantly enough

Fact- the feds (and at times, losing klingons) in my experience have pack mentality, reducing the threat of getting blown up by flying together in capture and hold- in spite of losing

Fact- never play cracked planet because it is crazy unfair to the feds and all feds should avoid this map

Fact- as the greatest player vs player of all time, i suggest stop being a coward

the evidence is clear
