They get everything a KDF-character/BO would get.

There's precedence for certain crewmembers to have the option of not wearing a proper uniform, mostly civilians or specialists. T'Pol does in fact wear the Starfleet uniform in various alternate reality episodes where she ends up in command, etc. 7 of 9 was never given a rank of any kind, and remained a civilian. Troi eventually got yelled at for not being in uniform.

I've done some demo-edit testing and here's my preliminary findings:

Starfleet pants will not work on KDF characters easily.

Starfleet shirts and badges work fine with just one exception: Gorn males have a neck which clips with the shirt collar, something you can see in my avatar. Given that an added collar is already mandatory for KDF Klingons, the only asset needed for shirts is a Starfleet Gorn collar. My suggestion would be a tweak on the female bandana or a reworking of the collar which will be added for Gorn-specific racial costumes.

Getting Starfleet shirts to work, the need for Gorn collars aside, should prove to be almost as simple as enabling them for Exchange officers.

My suggestion would be to enable Starfleet tops (and maybe skirts, no issue there) for exchange officers and maybe a plain pants texture (which already exists). This leads to somewhat of a mix 'n match feel but should at least give them the necessary Starfleet flavor.

Though you may wind up having to do the whole enchilada. Because what happens when my Gorn Captain goes to use his off-duty costume slot? Unless you can make that slot a simple second costume slot the way it is for Klingons.

Rank emblems don't work for Gorn either but that raises the question whether a promoted BO uses rank pips or a baldric anyway.

whoa, that's awesome - a Federation Gorn Bridge Officer!

Does anyone know if Cardassians are a possible reward? They're sorta my favorite, and I'd love to get my hands on one, if possible.

I am going to hit Ambasador in the next couple of day. I am personally not that interested in Klingon faction Bridge Officers. But I would love a Romulan or Reman one!

For the love of Pete PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE No!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless you put some serious restrictions on this. Otherwise you just opened the door to circumventing the Lifetime Liberated Borg option. Yes the player would be a female Borg Engineer but still it cheapens the Lifetime subscription accounts.

Pleae you would likely have an outright hatefest on your hands with people looking to lynch you in game. Think I am joking? You know I am right

Dan - Trying to save you from yourself man

If you do it, restrict it to unlocks only. If you bought a joined trill, then it is unlocked. If you did not, well pony up some money to the table and you can as well. Would spur C-Store sales! Marketing would love you....

Or a male borg science officer.

I don't really give much support to your complaint though. The sacrifice people will make in terms of traits and customization (if they go the Borg Science BOFF route) will be more than enough to differentiate the Lifetime Borg Captains from the first officer alt captains. It doesn't cheapen anything.

This is already in place. It's restricted to the officers you have.

Are there any joined trill BOs?

There are two things that annoy me with the Ambassadorial Bridge Officers.

1) They are Whites (2 Basic Skils), not Greens, Blues, or Purples. Even if a new captain soley exped off Diplomacy, they would be Commanders, which means they would get Blue Bridge Officers.

2) Why is there an exchange program going on with the enemy in a time of war?
