Since it is not that easy: (well or there is no instruction ingame or elsewhere)

1. invite your Opponent(s) to your Friends List
2. tell the paricipants to Open their PvP que window (so that they can see the invite when it comes)
3. on top of the window it says CREATE, click on that.
4. choose the map you want to fight on. (fvk fvf... cnh, arena... depending on participants)
5. invite people
6. have fun.

i´ll post a vid later.

Kellfxx, thanks so much for much for posting that. I was so close to quitting for good yesterday for the lack of pvp when I saw this post, which has sparked my interest again, like others have said in this thread -

I've found the method that you used works for one on one's.

It works ok when I create ground pvp matches between 2 players, but bugs out when I add any more - once the game starts, all the players except for one a side get kicked out. That is, shortly after the match starts, they get beamed out of the map.

We've found a workaround, by having each side pre-form teams, and using "Team Invite" - but even that's unreliable, as on occasion people seem to lose the queue, and are also subsequeuntly booted out of matches after it starts. I'm certain this is a bug as we used to be able to make 4vs4 matches before Season 2.

Are people have similar problems for space pvp private matches?

im not sure about that, haven´t had time for extensive testing. i believe the teams have to be even i guess. but yeah ground could be kinda buggy. in space we had 2vs2 and 3vs3 etc going without bugs though.

Thanks for the info, I've raised a bug report as it seems to affect ground specifically. Cheers.
