So since we have random crewmen walking around, would it be possible to have a "default crew uniform" either a simple uniform collection sorted by male/female; or even seperated by tactical/engineering/science sections.
I'd still like to see more specific bridge crew uses, say one of my BO's is my First Officer, he would do his normal duties as a BO, but add slight buffs here and there; or even a unique First Officer ability. I could see this with Chief Engineer and Chief Medical Officer; I hope these ideas stir some creative ideas for the community.
I'd love to see an open PVP sector with organic missions (Feds escort freighters or something from one point to another; klingons intercept them) base attack and defense; fight for control of planets with objectives to take and hold on the ground (sorry been playing too much WAR lately; I'd love to see some of those ideas implemented)
Would it be possible to put an NPC level restriction on certain ships? I'd love to only see Neg'Vahr or higher ability ships in the respective level band; if I'm flying the LC level ships, would it make sense to be fighting against other LC level ships? I do realise that this would darn near eliminate certain ships we'd be seeing; however you could rectify this by adding more late level missions to all sectors; or by making these ships boss fights in the same vein of the Scimitar battle in Romulan space.
Several people have brought this idea up in the past, and I'm hoping that it will find it's way into Season 3. I used TOS uniforms so it just looks really weird to go to my ship and see all of my crew wandering around in the new unis.
Here's another idea that just came to me. You can pull a randomly generated name for your character at creation... what about using this system to attach a name to the crewman wandering around our spaceships and stations. So you'd see Tactical Officer Bob instead of just plain ol' Tactical Officer.
