I noticed this trying to fine-tune a foundry project. So shuttle items do scale with character level, but they appear to overperform at low levels while combat against the same kind of opponent gets increasingly hard at higher levels.
While my Lieutenant-level character's runabout easily makes short work of a pair of Orion corvettes, my Vice Admiral gets owned. The latter is arguably more convincing for a small craft taking on a pair of corvettes, but the vast difference in performance strikes me as overdone and almost has a glitchy feel to it, given shuttle performance is supposed to scale with character level.
So, am I missing something here or is this on purpose?
