The "Kit" abilities are the same as the BO trained "skills" -- e.g. photonic grenade, medical tricorder. This is why people have suggested that "Creativity" should increase the BOs trained skills... why not right?

But more important --- Why would BOs come with traits that do nothing at all? If this is the case, the BO trait system is seriously broken. Most of my awarded blue BOs have either Creativity or Leadership, and whats worse, several of them have Superior Creativity.

Well, you can presume that their powers don't come from magic, but from a kit they're carrying :p

no answer yet.so bump..as i'm curious since a ton of higher ranked boffs i've gotten have "creativity" and if it works only with kits..since they can't use kits...its a useless skill to have..if a mod could answer that would be really swell

Creativity works, i did some tests with 2 different BO a few month ago.

Confirmed that a BO with Creative (+5%) heals 2.5% more than one with Basic Creative (+2.5%). The difference is *not* reflected in the BO skill tooltips - you have to check the combat log to see it.

Thanks for this info - I feel a lot better about using superior creative and superior resistance on some of my boffs
