Over powered?? Please, stop using the excuse and accept that fact you arnt good at pvp. It doesnt matter how you pwn in PVE, because PVE has lame ass AI that you could whoop with a runabout and a few rocks!! you need strategy, teamwork, good bridge officers and of course a well equiped ship. You also must take note, if your are an escort you will be killed first, then science ships then cruisers. You will be killed in this order because of hull/sheild strengths. And dont forget, Klingons have been forced to PVP since Lt 6. so they are probably more experianced then you and have built there ships specifacally for pvp.

The Problem is that the Federation really must be in desperate times cause of all the Wars against Borg and Undine etc., so they make even the most unskilled Captains to Vice Admirals give them a ship and send them into Battles.

Let me shine some light on this dilemna. I can one shot any ship in the game if they are unprepared for my attack. If, like in chess, they anticipate my strategy and use one of a large variety of defenses, my attacks are rendered moot. This is a complicated game. L2P. I have been max level pvping since release and have never thought there was a significant balance issue (among race anyway (sci is op nerf sci!)). The presence of battle cloak is the klingons only true advantage, and it in itself can easily be countered by intelligent tactics. Please expand your horizons and experience level before making uneducated comments. Thanks <S>

Amen Mini but the problem is that very few ever listen. True PVP players are in it for the competition. Every advantage that the Klingons have can be countered. And on that same token every advantage that the feds have can be countered. I think the biggest thing that people have been bothered by is that Klingons always get to choose the time of engagement. Feds put them self into a ball and klinks pick a target and get to attack with everyone on one target from every angle. So to feds in the future, they get the time you pick the place. Get away from the spawn gate and make them work for there kills. Team up and have fun and for the love of god stop complaining *****. Learn from it and do better next time. WE ARE BALANCED!!!!

Many feds forget they can use sensor scan, charged particle burst, and mines/warp plasma to effectively control the arena in advance of the klingon's first strike. Additionally, the presence of Fed cloakers allows for even more varied defensive styles. I think most people would agree that klingons are the least strong at this time compared to any other interval of gameplay. The skills being imbalanced is far more relevant as the klingons ability to fly the bop is weakened when overpowered skills (vm, feedbackpulse, tss) are weakened as well. Still, it is a sight to behold when a bop alphas an unready fed ship. Step up your game. It isnt going to get any easier, no matter what they nerf next.

when i do Fed PvP i almost feel sorry for the klingons i am against. I run Tachion beam, CPB and Photonic Shockwave then HY quantums + Tricobalt..
my tricobalt base dmg is 24k that is without, my sensor scan, attack pattern beta of other debuffs. tricobalts easily 1 shot bops.

2 times today i got 2 bops in my cpb and ps and hit one with a tricobalt 30k hit on both of them and they both were killed.

Now im just trying to show how to use klingons weaknesses against them. BOPs have weak sheilds and hull so use weaps that can deal alot of burst damage.

All Fed ships aer stronger than their klink counterparts (except for klinogn Raptor)

currently Klingons probably underpowered compared to equal skilled feds, its just that there are not very many teams of 5 skilled feds out there.

I have PvPed both klingon and Fed in all of the lvls and past ltcom (where feds were stuck with 2 peeps agaoinst our 5) i found it harder to PvP as a klingon than as a fed.
all fed ships have teh bonus of being stronger and having better sheilds. and their ships at RA lvl allow more diversity in the build.

PvP is not imbalanced and if you practice and get skilled at it you should have no problem fighting klinks on even ground. but generally someone with 200 pvp games will be better than someone with 15....

Clearly, I am out of my league when compared with all of you. Foregive me, the recreational player, for sharing my experience and askiing a simple question of truly professional gamers. You not only satisfied my curiosity but cured me of any desire to interact in pvp and this or any other forum.
