We sure did It started on page 12. We also watched all the TOS and TNG movies along the way.

After the Enterprise is diverted to the Romulan planet of Romulus, supposedly because they want to negotiate a truce, the Federation soon find out the Romulans are planning an attack on Earth.

i have seen all the trek episodes at least half a dozen times over the past 4 years, but it is not the only series i have seen more then a fair few times, stargate sg1, atlantis, universe, farscape, BSG 2004, babylon 5 and crusade to name a few. i found universe and crusade, despite them being canceled, they were the most engaging.

anyway, i'm going to restart the trek journey again soon in order of time by series starting with enterprise. make sure i missed nothing .

I tend to agree. Nemesis was to the TNG-cast, what The Final Frontier was for the TOS-cast. Both respectively, the worst movie of the series for their cast(s).

Most people tend to agree, that in Trek, odd-numbered (1,3,5 etc) movies are bad/worse, while even-numbered (2,4,6 etc) movies are good/better. In terms of the TNG-era movies, I enjoyed most of them. Generations certainly had it's flaws/inaccuracies, and the senseless death of Kirk, but it was still a pretty good movie. First Contact had 2 "staples" of Trek; Time-travel and the Borg. Can't really go wrong with combining both, now can you? Insurrection, again had it's flaws, but it also probably was the most "human" of the TNG movies. And for a change, it involved saving a planet other than Earth.

Nemesis on the other hand, was so full of inaccuracies, I wouldn't even know where to begin. The "humanity" of Trek was all but gone. They tried to re-create the "Wrath of Khan" in the guise of the "Wrath of Shinzon", only to have the plot fall flat on it's a--. Ironically, both movies ended up killing off a major character. In Nemesis however, that death was unnecessary and stupid. Instead of having "Action Picard" heroically beam over SOLO, to fight Shinzon, Picard should've ordered a full boarding party of security crewmembers, to either capture or kill Shinzon, and deactivate the Thalaron weapon. Said boarding party could've made an identical "space jump" that Data did, while wearing EV suits.

I believe, Nemesis broke the pattern of uneven-numbered/even-numbered bad/good movies, in the sense that I rather enjoyed the (11th) movie that is the 2009 Star Trek film. I have no major issues with the 11th movie, since it's estabilished early on in the movie, that the events take place in an alternate reality (parallel timeline).

I think most fans went to the stargate franchise after star trek went off especially since most of the actors had a few episodes in stargate after they got cancelled.. that and warehouse 13 which I am loving right now with Brent Spiner playing the villain (Edit: You can just feel the character Lore when he plays him too LOL)

I do not know what I will do after the Journey ends maybe play more STO or start watching a new TV series. Anyone have any recommendations of what to watch? I am currently thinking of watching all 9 seasons of NCIS.

I highly recommend the "9 seasons of NCIS" (Season 10 starts on September 25th). I've watched NCIS from beginning to the most recent episode, and have enjoyed each and every episode. My favorite character is definitely 'Gibbs', and if you watch the show, you may understand why

NCIS is technically a spin-off from 'JAG', where it was introduced as a 2-parter in it's 8th Season (titled Ice Queen/Meltdown), which introduces most of the characters of NCIS. With NCIS now heading into it's 10th Season, the question comes down to, will NCIS be able to run longer than it's predecessor did? I think it will, given the popularity of the show, and it's constant growth in viewership numbers over the 9 seasons so far. Most shows tend to diminish over time, while NCIS has managed to hold steady or improve viewer numbers.

The first actual NCIS episode (Yankee White), is totally a ripoff on the movie 'Air Force One'.
