If you people are using the Nvidia 200 series drivers then forget about them if you can.
The 190's are the last ones that work properly with STO, all the new generation drivers seem completely borked and there is no fix in sight from Nvidia.
And its not just STO thats affected.
I think I found a solution. Go to your video options and make sure the display mode is set to "full screen" and not "windowed maximized". I did that and the problem went away entirely.
I have a 260M and I have the flickering problem whether it's windowed or fullscreen. I would roll back the drivers to 197 (I have 258.96 now), but the StarCraft 2 cinematics wouldn't work properly with the 197 drivers for me. So right now it's either STO or SC2, and I'm choosing SC2 since it's much less buggy atm.
But it would be nice if either Nvidia or Cryptic would identify the problem and help fix it.

Since upgrading my video drivers lastnight having major artifacts and flickering of screen. running 2 5670 ati video cards in crossfire mode. was having no trouble at all before the new video card drivers were installed. I tried to go back to the older drivers, but still having problems with artifacts on screen, only on STO. everything else on computer including blu-rays play fine? NOW WHAT DO I DO?
I upgraded tonight from a gf 9800gt to a 460 and it sucks. I used the most recent nvidia drivers when my 9800 was in use and uninstalled and reinstalled them when I dropped in the 460. WTF? If it looked fine w/ the 9800 with the most recent drivers, why woudn't it work as well (should work better!) with a 460.
