I completed the main part but I can't complete the first area of the daily mission. I repaired the satilites. Everything is green except "await Deferi Reinnforcements" and "depart system". Did I miss something?

I really wish we'd gotten Emblems for doing these missions, as well.

I also wish I hadn't done the ruins "last", so I might have noticed the starmap puzzle. Can't do it afterwards. :/

Re; Deferi system not completing.

I too had that problem where the 'await Deferi reinforcements' and 'depart system' didn't tick off on my list.

No reinforcements came!

I clicked the icon top right of my screen to depart system myself and found in my episode log that the mission was complete. Job done.

I then went on and did the satelite repair and patrols stuffs and all was working and completed, got reward.

I really liked Cold Call, looking forward to doing it with all my Alts and to the next episode next week. Good work Cryptic Team, thanks!

You need to lower the sarr theln's difficulty, it murdered my akira 5 times anywhere from 7 seconds to just 1, even with a fleet mate helping.

We're talking about the Mission where we have to help the Deferi ship Jeska against the 4 attack waves right?

I got to there adn looked, and tried clicking on 'depart system'. It says my mission was complete and asked if I wanted to leave.

It just never checks as done, or the other two are part of the 'await reinforcements'. But it's done. IT should say 'complete' if you want to warp out, then do the other mission with the satellites later.

I finally solved everything. In the outpost scenario, you don;t have to destroy the breen battleship to win. Just sneak around it and repair the satellites. Watch out for the fighters, they are quick. My teir 3 escort couldn't match their turn rate. fortunately my load out includes two Mk VI plasma arrays and several cannons and a front and rear Mk VI plasma photon launcher. Fun episode. A bit of a challenge in some areas. I had to re spawn once in the ground combat, then I figured out that attacking at range and moving around was the solution.

Well this mission is impossible for me... everything is going well, no problems with the ground mission and the 1st part in space with the cruisers is no problem either. But that battleship is impossible for me. I'm Lieutenant Commander 8 (Science Officer) in a science vessel. Tried desperately to ask for help in the chat but apparently nobody wants to team up. In 1 hour and 5 deaths later I managed to get him down to 75%.... I wasn't planning on beating on it for another 3 hours and 15 deaths, so gave up.

First off, I enjoyed the first daily and the first weekly.
Excellent job.

I would probably tone down the font a bit for the load in text when going into the weeklies and such, it does seem a bit on the large side and a different/smaller font setting would help with overall text crispness imo.

Example: the cold call zone in text being one of the cases.




Spoiler Warning / below is information regarding a possible bug in one of the missions.

"Outpost 3"
There was a minor issue with the daily outpost mission where you wait for reinforcements to arrive.
The reinforcements did not seem to count at least on one occasion till the security satilltes where repaired.

On another char there was no issue for that same mission and the reinforcements counted before the satillites were repaired like they were supposed to.

Not sure if it was a lag issue or what not, but there is a heads up on it.

Also, I would maybe consider dropping some of the points for the missions and compensate the drop in points with emblems for VAs.
Think that was also brought up by another poster and I also agree that an emblem reward of say 2-3 would seem pretty good as part of the daily if your VA.

Great stuff, cannot wait to see the next one.
Not really any major complaints from this STO player, keep up the good work.

amazing! simply amazing! now this is what i want to see more of!

First look is when you enter the sector space, it looks great!
After that you are hailed and your getting a good amount of text to read, not to little and not to much.

Visual view when entering the first mission is really stunning.
larger astroids, smaller, random objects that has moving parts.
the mission enviorment feels alive, not like the old missions.

a untargetable ship warping in without you beeing able to get a targeting hud around it making it melt into the enivorment even more.

planet side.

For those of you that can't seem to kill the battleship, you don't have to. I gave up trying and was able to repair the satellites and complete the mission. Just stay out of its weapons range and remember it will chase you down If It sees you. You will have to pure on the speed to get away. Reinforcements never arrived for me either. Since reinforcements never arrive for many players then please tell the devs. It is a large bug. It's a very good piece of work by the devs. I hope to see more. Please consider adjusting the battleship difficulty, since so many players report its too difficult. Aside from the bug and battleship, I say BRAVO. I can't wait to see what you folks create for the next one.
