This has been only touched on in a few threads (I used Search for it before starting this thread) but I'd like to see an addition to costuming added to the game: The TOS Captain's Wrap Around Tunic.
There are three variants shown in TOS:
1) Brown Suede Fabric worn by Charlie in "Charlie X." This version is a bit bulky, slightly loose and made of the same material as the season one phaser holster sashes and is worn with a turtle neck shirt under it. The turtle neck shirt would be the major graphical difference between this and the other two versions.
2) Kirk's Version One has the rank braids set up at the neck line in a arrow head pattern, a black seam with golden piping and is worn with no visible undershirt (although there is a picture of Shatner wearing a low cut tank top between cuts having a smoke with De Kelly which could have been worn under it).
3) Kirk's Version Two has the braids moved to the sleeves and is a more durable material (no real graphical change there for the game) with the black seam and piping removed. Once again - no visible under shirt.
I would love to have this in game. One convention the programmers would have to make is to move the communicator pin to the breast instead of at the waist because of the animation of the characters tapping their badge to be beamed up but I think it would still be a great add to the game's appearance.
The nice part is that, graphically, they already have a programming base to start from if they want to short cut their way to it. One of the off duty jackets is a wrap style of sorts and shares a few appearance properties with the TOS wrap.
