Alright, so I got a VA and now the game is pretty much over? This is where the fun should really begin. You wouldn't need to add more ships nor revamp the game much just add more quests that are tougher. It would also get people to stick around for a 2nd and 3rd char and make them even want to do it! I've listed 3 ways I thought it could go but in the end you have some nice powerful escorts to go with you.

1) Once you get your main commander to Vice he could then promote one of his officers to another ship. Lets say take my high level tach officer and promote him to his own command on an escort ship. Then you pretty much start over and you level that new commander with his own crew up to (and this can be capped) captain or VA but captain or VA on his own ship. Now lets go back to your first VA and promote his science officer to a science ship. Now you start the process again and level that ship.

2) You get your commander to VA, lets say an engineer with a cruiser, then you start a tach officer with an escort and get them to VA. Once that other commander gets to VA you do it again except with a science officer. You take those two commanders and put them under the command of the main character VA and they become your main chars escort fleet.

3) Once you get to a VA status you then add another type of ship to go with your fleet. That ship has its own crew that must level up and be trained as you continue doing missions. At first his escort starts out pretty weak. You get to upgrade the crew and their weapons until they get to be a very strong ally. Once you finish with that one you get to add another ship and start that process over again. But you continue doing missions on the VA and above level (which seem to be missing).

In the end of either choice we now have 3 ships that can be combined under the one VA to make it a fleet. I'm not only the captain of my ship but now I have 2 other ships that follow me around and help me out on quests. Now the missions change, I no longer have to take regular missions but I have fleet mission to choose from. These fleet missions require me to go deep into enemy space and really do allot of damage or deep exploration into unchartted territories. Maybe even missions that take a week to complete and friends go along to help etc....

Not sure how feasable this is or if I'm the only one that would love to have a fleet under my command but this sounds like allot of fun to me and it would make the game expandable without adding tons of new dreadnaughts and other ships to keep advancing.

Also you select which ship is your flagship so that you can pilot any of the 3 ships in your fleet by using the captain that currently has command of that ship. So if you decide you want to fly your escort ship you use the captain you leveled with your escort ship and fly that ship while the other two become the support ships etc....

I am hoping that part 5 the Breen series become a mini raid of some knid. This would help everyone. Score big ponits with players as well.

I'm actually hoping that for a change we get a new bridge officer. The one that we talked to in prison was a medic and someone I could really use on my ship. Chief medic anyone? No more going back to a starbase to get healed now we could actually just go to our medical bay and get all fixed up after taking those nasty injuries from those advanced away missions.

I sure hope that they increase the level cap so that a player can become a level five 4-star Admiral/General. That should be easy to do. With all of the missions released, there should still be plenty for players to do to get to that lofty level.

What would be the point in leveling that high though? There aren't anymore ships to get unless they make it to where u aren't buying those extra ships and u can get the dread naught without paying for it. Then there would be no variance in ship types since everyone would end up in the same final class. I think letting us use 3 ships at once to take on heavier missions (not spamming beaming in over and freaking over type mission). Those need to be fixed in a serious way. With multiple ships at your disposal and the ability to play each ship type anytime you want on any mission would keep the game interesting. Also leveling 3 different classes would take quite awhile to do. Anyway leveling more and more doesn't seem the way to fix it to where people play longer. Also what about adding random events? An unusual space ship flys in (piloted by a derv) and reeks havoc on an unsuspecting system. Full allert goes out to all available star ships to head there immediately across every galaxy. Something along those lines. Random ships pop in on the mission you are on and help out. Sometimes they pop in and help out the enemy. I know right now I have several people on my friends list and I only see one on anymore. Everyone else pretty much quit once they maxed level. I've maxed out my main chars level and quit playing him pretty much right away.
