Awesome story. When the game is being realeased, will there be a coherent story about the path put together as a PDF or even as a booklet? That would be great.

Thx

Perhaps the Klingons beat the Gorn so badly they have no choice but to agree to be a sort of Vassal to the Klingon Empire? Perhaps the Gorn fight so bravely and honourably that the Klingons decide they are worth allying with instead of conquering?
I think this is the direction the fiction is heading.

Perhap there will be some events to further turn the Gorn against the Federation.

Keep it coming. I just love the building of the plot for this game.

It looks good Im liking how these stories are being made. Im more looking forward to how these factions are going to work together in the game though. It will be interesting to see the next path to 2409 stories and see how they work these out.

Once again a great job Kestrel. I really love these updates.
The supplemental logs add just that little bit extra perspective wise.

Only 23 years to go! :p

The Gorn conquered, and used as a slave race? Oh, how the mighty have fallen. This brings up another issue: The Gorn were more advanced then the Federation during the 23rd century. Then had:

Weapons that were considered "worse" then phasers.
Engines which can exceed those of Constitution-class vessels
Shields that can take a massive amount of phaser or torpedo barrages and suffer little-to-no damage.
Sensors/ Targeting computers that were less advanced then the federation (thankfully!)

That was only in the 23rd century. They were not mentioned again the late 24th century (here). Surely they advanced over the past one-hundred years? This means the Klingons could have a massive advantage if they incorporate this technology into their ship designs and the arsenal of their soldiers.

These are the paths that I find most likely and I'm personally hoping that they are made into vassals.
BTW great read .
