Oh, and by the way, we NEED screenshots of that Sovereign.

I went back and checked the older video, and you're completely right that the Galaxy, the Borg getting phasered, and the explosion were indeed all there. Apparently those images didn't "stick" in my memory for some reason. But whatever the cause, I broke Rule #1 of journalism: check your sources.

Thanks for the correction.

I was happy to see that we can still get a normal Sovereign without that rollbar, personally. And after seeing one of the initial screenshots of the Miranda class (the one where it's zooming away from the planetoid...I like most of the screenshots so far, but that one made everything look just awful) I was very happy to see that it looks like they've made refinements to the graphics All in all, it's looking awesome.

Well speculation is over looks like you can name your Bridge crew, but they won't be with you on group missions so we won't have to deal with Capt Siegfried and his First Officer Roy. Actually that is the smartest way I think Cryptic could have handled it, freedom without screwing with other players Immersion.

Bravo Cryptic.

Always like hearing more news on the game's development!

I do think any "new" footage was pretty much the kind of "if you blink you missed it" nature. Because, to me, I didn't see much new there except maybe some wider shots showing an asteroid field and what I'm presuming is our starter ship? The modified Miranda?

Just out of interest, based on those, few, new clips in that interview are we going to get to see a new trailer at some point ?
