Ship that captures the flag cant full impulse back. Team MUST protect the flag carrier to increase and promote teamwork. First team to 3 points win.
1. It's fresh, and not our current C and H map sans capture points
2. Cryptic gets it through their heads and have HIGHER rewards (win counts as 2x played games, extra emblem, golden unicorn, etc.) for winning.
Number 2 is my biggest gripe in STO pvp. As it is now, the majority of pug v pug C and H games I've participated in are just ball v ball in some random location, with maybe 1-2 players actually attempting to capture the points. Please give players an incentive for actually winning, instead of being communists about it and dictate that everyone get equal rewards.
That's a good idea. I was wondering what the "story" would be behind it. What are you transporting there?
It can't be a flag, after all. That would be silly.
Would the KDF and the Federation quarrel over one of the tears of the prophets, though? They belong to the Bajorans, after all.
Maybe it needs to be a Deferi artifact? Everyone wants that, even if only to make the Deferi happy about you.

Deferi artifact or captive - Ties in with the Diplo Daily / Weekly Set.
A wanted ambassador - Deliver or stop him/her getting to the peace conference.
Orion raiders or Federation prisoners - Jail break or bring to justice.
Omega particles - Steal from the Feds/Stop the tech falling into Klingon hands.
