# 1 Lookin for a new fleet.
09-28-2010, 02:28 PM
Hello,

Im lookin for new fleet to team with. My playstyle is pretty casual and laid back, though I do play alot. I do everything from PvP to STFs. I dont RP or anything like that, just a casual Trek fan. Im not real particular on Fleets/Clans/Guilds, I just dont like overly complicated rank structures, and prefer a mature environment where people can take a joke, be open-minded and remain drama free while having fun. Having a voice server though would be a big plus. The main thing Im looking for though is more people to team with because solo gets old. Ive got 2 characters at the moment. One is a vice admiral tactical officer in an advanced escort. The other is an Engineer, whom Im working through the LC ranks.

A lil about me. Im a 25 year old IT student from Ohio. I play all genres, I basically have video game ADD. I never can settle on just one game. Currently though I play this as my main game and some Bad Company 2 on the side. Trying out other games all the time though.

I think thats the important stuff. If I seem like a good fit for your fleet, shoot me a PM or contact me in-game. Lookin forward to a new group of people to team with.

Thanks.

We are a PvE, PvP based fleet with an option to RP as well if you’re into that, so it doesn’t matter what your playing style is, or if you haven’t made up your mind, the ADF will always have a place AND a purpose here for you. The Armada Defense Force (ADF) was formed in August of 2009 by Voorhees and has come a long way. Our main goal in the beginning was to get as many people as we could. While our goal is still that, we have spread our goals to include alliances and much more. The top leaders of ADF have over 30 years of clan/fleet running experience. Each leader brings a unique style to the fleet.

We have two branches you can join. We have the ADF Navy (PvE), and the ADF Marine Corp (PvP). As a member of ADF, we will not ‘dictate’ to you how you choose to spend your time on STO. Whatever type/class of character you create, whatever type of ship you command, and whatever style of playing you perform, we take what you do/are and work with that.

In order to enhance your STO experience, we have divisions within our two branches that you can choose to be a part of such as T.S.I., E.S.E., Maco and other divisions that you can view by visiting our branch/division structure at this link: Here

At current, we are looking for new members to join the ranks of the ADF. We have meetings almost every day and always keep the fleet up to date. The leaders are hard at work making sure the members get what they want.
Our future is bright and we are growing day by day. We want to become a well-known fleet in both PvP and PvE. We put fun first but when times call for it, we can get down to business. We in the fleet want everyone to have fun. We are here to defend the Federation and help those in need.

If you wish to be among our ranks, head over to Here and click on “Recruitment” on the top/right corner of the site and fill out a short application.
…Or you can just post a reply here saying that you are interested and one of our recruiters will contact you shortly.
So what are you waiting for?

Join the Armada Defense Force today and enhance your STO experience!

Greetings Ballathor,

The Canadian Federation would be a good fit for you. We are a pretty laid back casual fleet ourselves, and do a lot of the things your looking for. We have weekly PvP every Saturday Night. We do alternate between Klingons and Federation characters. We are all very helpful and are always glad to help people where we can. We also have a Ventrillo server for voice communication as you suggested would be good. We just got done redoing our website, and it's pretty good I think. Feel free to check it out in my signature below. Typically we are most active in the evenings in the America's time zones. (PST, MST, CST, EST) and usually very active on the weekends.

Should you have any questions feel free to contact me here or on our website. We welcome you to register and look at what we are about.

We wish you the best of luck looking for a fleet and hope you can make a home with ours.

Hello Ballathor,

I'm Jonathon_Davis, Chief Recruiting Officer, of the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. I wanted to take a moment to reply to your post. After reviewing your post I think the VKF may be a good fit for you. We are a very casual fleet and are certainly laid back. We don't believe in pressuring our members and don't ask anything from them other than to participate when they can. If you're not going to partiicpate, then why be in a fleet? Am I right??? We have PvP & PvE divisions so we can meet your needs in these areas. We recently began participating in the PvP League. No sweat with not RPing. We currently don't have an active RP division, not that there's anything wrong with that! We do, on occassion, attend other allied fleet's RP gatherings when invited. We have a rank structure but it's not complicated and we never insist you do anything to "rank up". We only ask that you register on our forum so we know who you are. The command team is in place simply as an administrative body for the forum and IG fleet maintenance. We don't have any age restrictions in our fleet but we've been lucky enough to gather a very mature community regardless of the individual's age. We joke around all the time and the coloring of those jokes is all over the spectrum. We are extremely open minded (they have to be to keep me around) and turn away drama. We have a Ventrillo account and recently started using Team Speak as well. So, join up and get to teaming! Solo can get boring! We'll even help you rank up that LC if you want.

I think I've addressed all your comments. (I don't like it when I get canned responses either!) So, if you're interested or have any questions, just shoot me a PM! Also, check out our forum. It has a lot of information about us and how to sign up. I've included one of my canned recruiting posts for the heck of it.

Jonathon

Good afternoon. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. We are a small but great and growing fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but that’s part of what makes us great.

Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game and in some case RL. We have a fleet Ventrilo server that we use for voice chat not just in-game but also to hang out as well and get to know each other better (not required, just available). Many of us are located on the East Coast (USA) and the UK, but we do have members scattered across the globe.

Although I say our fleet is dedicated, we also realize that everyone has lives as well, so therefore when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about losing your position within the fleet due to RL. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand that sometimes real life issues and problems can take time to resolve, and that some time is needed to sort things out.

So please, think about joining and moving with us into 2409 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch.

The Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet

Live Long and Prosper!

If you or anyone else wants additional information on the [VKF] don’t hesitate to contact me or any of our members.

LOL most fleet do copy and paste they like to do "MASS" Recruitment. In ADF we like to be personal lad back and fun we like getting on team speak and BS and get drunk and have more fun. We at ADF have a "ZERO" tolerance for drama. I have been there done that and don't need it in my life so why should we do it to you is how i look at it . Now we have about 30members who respect and fight play and have fun together yea we have some ranks but its more there to give you a what i like to call "E-HUG" Anyways i don't want to take up to much of your time if your interested in ADF send me a in game mail at Afov J. Weatherford@Afov

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Hi Ballathor,

I invite you to check out the 44th. We're casual 18+ fleet with ventrilo server. We do have a rank structure, but it's mainly for privileges like fleet bank and etc. We offer some RP on our forums but it's completely optional. I would say that most of the current active membership does not RP at all. We are small-medium size right now in terms of active membership. We have no playtime requirements. We welcome all levels. We run STF's. In fact, we just helped a new member through the cure last night. Give us a look.

or send me a PM.
