The extreme idea:

Supply a saved costume of a character for people (probably on these forums). Supply the names and costumes for BOs. Species and everything (this part would be... difficult). Ship too.

Then supply a large quantity of character driven missions made specifically for that character. No, not all the way up from Ensign to Admiral. But a large amount to give a story to a team of characters.




Going more extreme, you could cater it to multiple people more specifically by assigning everyone a specific character.

Of course this would have insane requirements. Like taking up a character slot and crap. It would require a lot. But it might let people experience a good story.

I have considered making my Captain and/or BOs into minor supporting characters in some arcs. Might make people inclined to roleplay if they have a chance to meet/interact with your characters, even when you're offline.
