***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

You can finish the tutorial without even using the bridge officer. You get one of each later on.

Actually, yeah, I forgot to assign my Tactical officer to her post and completed the tutorial and Asura mission just like that.

It doesn't matter what you choose first. They are all trash and each and every last one of them goes in the dumpster first thing. Just pick one at random, then sell it. Their only use is starbase food. It's not even a blue, let alone purple, and you can get better for less off the exchange. A Blue Boff of your choice of race will cost you maybe $300. This is not going to break the bank of even the poorest noob.

Just an FYI here for taking screenshots with the HUD etc. turned off... ALT+F12 hides the HUD and then you can PrtScn and use paint or F12 in Steam. ALT+F12 press again un-hides the HUD.
