Similar to my previous post about the Star Trek Tech, I found this to be a wonderful way to waste time while waiting for the overly huge update:

Google Starship Image Results

Click the above link to view (Google Images) the various search hits on Star Trek starship images. I just love looking at these things, there's so much detail that most of the time I'm just blown away by it. Below are a few of my favs taken from the search linked above.

Yuppers, that's something I've always wondered about. I guess the Feds just don't see a need for their ships to be virtual worlds in space. Although it would certainly be interesting for the Feds to encounter a race that does posses a Death Star or something like it.

Well, they don't neccessarily usually need generational ships, now do they?

Warhammer 40k ships are like that too.

Battleships are upwards of 10 km long while even escorts are 1.5 km long.

Here is my usual source for starship sizes.

Yup. The largest human ships in 40K, an Emperor-class battleship, require crews of about seven hundred fifty THOUSAND (that's 3/4 of a million people) to operate.

Here's a good one I found. Whoever made that one musta been a genius...
