Yeah.. But you guys always crossheal.. While Era might be the dedicated healer, Lintyuk and the rest of you are mighty quick to shoot him some resist buffs

Kinda sucks when your entire premade is based on one thing (be it SNB, PSW or whatever) ;D

Truth be told, LF have also had some good matches against Lore.. Just too bad we're almost always in a partial premade, and somehow always end up with a cruiser PU that needs to be healed more than our escorts

I think the only unbalanced thing is this sitiation:


5 Carriers vs 5 Nebulas...

Carriers carry Scramble sensors...

Carriers carry Mines.

Nebulas carry Mines..

Nebulas get scrambled simultaniously..

Nebulas activate Sensor net Simultaniously...

If they gave the defiant at least a battle cloak the bop would still have the slight advatage with its universal slots. And i will make a point about the carrier, why all of a sudden klings teams have at least 2, i have even seen 3/4 in some teams, prior to thier revamp you saw the odd one and please dont tell me thats not true since i flew mostly klingon upto about 1 month ago

Any way that the last i have to say about this subject i will use my kling character to keep getting their emblems, but for now i will predominantly fly fed because its actaully more of a challenge to win.! I welcome every ones input and there are some good points made against my argument.
So i am slowly reading through this thread, will eventually make my way to the end... But on this post i would just like to say you are stating BOPS are the best ship in game and the carrier NPC's are a pain in the @$$.

Simply put if the common sense factor is not kicking in for a fed pug to FF the bop, i cant help ya there. i know what FF does to a BOP, even evasive and eng batt isnt saving his @$$ when FF comes down the pipe.

I agree with carrier spam floods the battlefield, i personally think the UI needs a bit reworking so we can have abbreviation boxes, or something of the sort for that type of thing. i have found turning names of in the current UI for friendly NPC's helps me out. But its all the same before patch when there were mine fields after mine fields from both factions... and if your 20k out from a carrier and being chased by his pets... you should kill them.

Can we just drop the topic - move on and play the game please.

I have only been playing since the last week in in September... Bobtheyak said this game is so easy, and it is... in less then 45 days i have managed to compete against the best with the best and LOL my way through pugs thinking wtf is really going on on the other side... the answer simply is player experience... i lvl'ed pvping and therefore i am a better player and teammate for it. It also didnt hurt that my fleet took me in at an early age and taught me the ropes.

One can go so far as to say that many Klingons have around a thousand PvP matches under their belt...and when playing against people who are approaching maybe a hundred...ever think there might be a player difference? Of course not. It must be game imbalance, right? Solution: BUFF FEDS EVEN MORE!!! That'll even things out

Brings me to suggest that some of these people who complain about PvP imbalance post their /played numbers Granted some people have more time to play than others...but don't complain that there's somehow a fundamental imbalance in the game that makes you lose.
