I just thought it would be interesting to allow BOs into certain 1v1 PvP matches. Good idea, bad? Would they respawn with the player, or remain until they went down? Would the 1v1 matches allowing BOs just become phaser turret fests?

Nice idea...I would definitely pay more attention to my bridge officers if this were the case. It would also add another variation to the game. Perhaps this would be another step toward having private matches on our own ship someday. I've always wanted to board an opponents ship in the neutral zone and take it over.

guild wars tried it once. In the end the AI was too dumb to kill the other ai on its own so it became a "who can cap and hold better" with officers devoted completely to self survivability.

I would prefer to not see that again.

Otha actually used to be like this in beta. Why it changed is anyone's guess. It was pretty fun though.
