Been a while since I did anything towards my kill accolades but when I did a few weeks ago they still counted. Since there are no Devidian kill accolades it could eb a while before I decide to complete my kill accodles on my other toons to find out.
Anybody else notice that you used to get credit for NPC's your BoFF's killed, but now you don't?
Nope. Not as of last night. They were still counting strong.
Are you farming kills for accalades? Some larger missions contain static NPC friendlies who who come under attack from certain enemies beaming in. Often these will re-spawn and in many missions these enemy NPC do not count towards your accolade kills ("Defuse the Situation" is an example of this where there are a hundred or so enemy NPCs in the instance, but only 25 that count towards kills).
But any normal enemy (ie: not engaged against friendly NPCs) kill should count towards an accolade (whether you killed it or your away team).
I agree, there are Borg everywhere but Nausicaans, Orions and others are used very rarely. And when I'm wandering in a Nebula i get some Alien races noone cares about.
it is something to do. if it annoys you that much just dont do them.
Because i do have a completionist streak in me, but I want to have some fun doing it. Kill accolades should be more fun then farming the same mission over and over again. After the tenth time doing the same mission it gets rather boring to go around that same corner every time.
The recurring Orion mobs on Regulus IV do NOT count for the kills versus Orion pirates (ground), the rest should count however, and BO kills also count. It's just a miracle how to get all those kills if you don't have a generous friend offering you all of the episodes from the start once again. I am now doin exactly that, I replay all the missions to the final group, beam out and start over ... otherwise it's impossible to get Nausicaan 1'000 ground kills and 200 space kills, same for Gorn (ground) and Orions (ground mostly).
