So as I've been reading the forums today, I've noticed the word "troll" has been thrown around quite a bit. And the truth is, maybe the people who have been called a "troll" are in fact trolling. However, the word "troll" is an insult, and insulting other people is also a form of trolling. So while I am not naming any names or singling anyone out, I am simply explaining the fact that if you call a specific person a troll, then that makes you a troll yourself.

When you point fingers 3 point back at you. When you give a thumbs up 4 point back to you. Give thumbs up.

Exactly. If you believe someone is "trolling", then report them. However, calling them a troll only makes you one as well, and means you should also be reported.

The gyst of that definition is the intent; that is to say purposely provoking a negative reaction. Well that simply proves the point of the OP. By calling someone a derrogatory term, you are purposely trying to provoke a negative reaction.

Or simply pointing out the obvious. creating the birth of the phrase "obvious troll is obvious".

but then again, you are the Philosoraptor, so I know that you know all these things and probably have 4chan open on a tab right now.
