Thanks.

I liked that the Deferi missions went back to known locations (and permanent ones that are part of the game's fiction). It gave us something to do once the party was over (and, by part, I mean featured episodes).

It's also great to know I don't have to travel to B'Tran or a cluster for a repeated content fix.

Do them on elite and you have much more intensive battles and it takes longer to finish them I think the most important beauty of the deferi patrols is more about they are the diversion from b'tran. I personaly like to see longer repeatable missions mixed between shorter patrols. And i would like to see a deferi daily ground mission.

Variety is great benefit. It's also a reason to get more locations from the shows into the game.

It may not be the most compelling way to do it but it's a great start to pave the way (and we can create social instances via UGC).

That's something i stated in another thread, because there are real beautiful systems which we only visit during the federation patrol missions. And it would be a shame if they stay unused and we will never visit them again. But dstahl answered that upcoming weekly episodes will allow to visit many known places again (and as we can see now in the devidian series he has kept his word)

That's why i think your idea is very good, it would allow to visit well done and beautiful systems on a daily base and it brings diversion into the b'tran daily grind.

Missions

1.) A Long and Winding Road: In the wake of the Klingon Scout Force, the KDF is dispatching small squadrons ('wolfpacks') of heavily-armed raiders to wreak havoc on Starfleet supply lines, far from the front lines of the conflict. Provide escort for one of the vital supply convoys, while fending off attacks from groups of these raiders. (Success is based on protecting a certain, minimum number of transports in the convoy.)

2.) Hunting the Hunters: The success of the new Tachyon Detection Grid, employed by Starfleet's Nebula-class vessels, has allowed Federation forces to turn the tables on the roving, cloaked KDF forces. A disabled freighter, being used as bait and transmitting a distress call, will, hopefully, draw the attention of a KDF strike group. A Nebula-class vessel, using Mask Energy Signature, is hiding nearby, its Tachyon Detection Grid waiting to help your vessel to ambush the predators, as you standby with the freighter, appearing to render aid. (The map would include an NPC Nebula-class, which you could hail to trigger its TDG on a shorter-than-normal cooldown; alternatively, the Nebula-class could trigger the TDG on a timed cycle, revealing the approaching Klingon force, and allowing you to have the first strike.)

3.) A Good Day To Live: One of the most unfortunate consequences of war is the effect that it can have on civilians. In an interstellar conflict, there often are insufficient resources to adequately defend all places at all times, thus, smaller colonies are often left to fend for themselves or evacuate in the face of the enemy. As a Klingon fleet threatens one such border colony, its inhabitants have (wisely) decided that it is better to flee than to try to fight; however, the Klingons strike just as the evacuation ships are lifting off from the planet's surface. Your ship/squadron is the only Starfleet vessel/s available to assist, and you must help to protect and escort the evacuation ships as they leave the system. (Evacuation ships depart in several waves, while progressively larger and stronger Klingon ships arrive and attempt to destroy both the transports and you. Success is based on the number of evacuation ships that successfully are able to warp out of the system.)

Accolades

1.) ...And Pass the Ammunition...: Successfully escort 20 convoys to safety.

2.) Look What I Found!: Successfully ambush the ambushers 20 times.

3.) I Hate Moving Day!: Successfully save the evacuation ships 20 times.

Flavor: Emphasizes Starfleet's traditional role of defense, even in times of war. Helps the player to feel like they are contributing to the ongoing war effort.

Missions

1.) Dark Echoes: The Hobus Supernova is still largely misunderstood by the scientific community, Starfleet wants to help alleviate this situation, as well as attempt to ensure that such a devastating event could not be repeated. Travel to several systems to analayze trace readings from the supernova remnant, and collect data for the Federation's top scientists. (Space and ground anomalies. May find Romulan/Hirogen forces in the systems where you are conducting research.)

2.) Tribute: Races and organizations from all over the galaxy journey to the shattered remains of Romulus, for a variety of reasons (philosophical, scientific, religious, etc.). Escort a ship carrying one of these groups to the Monument at Romulus; as not everyone in the Romulan Empire appreciates the attentions of these pilgrims. (Sometimes space mission, protecting the ship from Romulan and Reman attacks; sometimes ground mission, as the ship is boarded by Hirogen hunting parties, who hide in the monument.)

3.) Prey: The Romulan-Hirogen Alliance is a cause for significant concern for the other races of the Alpha Quadrant. Events like the one your ship is experiencing today are one of the primary reasons for such concern. A Hirogen hunting squadron has ambushed your ship, and now you must fight your way free, before you are overwhelmed. (Sometimes, a guantlet of Hirogen ships that you must blast your way through, sometimes, they successfully board your ship, and you must defeat them before they seize control of your vessel.)

Accolades

1.) If It's Glowing, It's Probably Still Hot...: Successfully scan 50 sites for supernova remnants.

2.) The Mayflower Compact: Successfully defend the pilgrim's vessels 20 times.

3.) Careful, This One Bites Back!: Successfully defeat the Hirogen hunters 20 times.

Flavor: The ongoing investigation into the Hobus Supernova should be emphasized here, along with the opportunity to visit the shattered remains of Romulus. Additionally, the Hirogen Alliance with the Romulans should be a terrifying prospect for the Federation and its allies.

Alot of these ideas sound really cool to me. Also i like the idea of adding more to pvp dailies. I can't stand all the feds that come into pvp and just sit there. If you want the extra emblems/marks/whatever that pvp has to offer, you should have to......idk, actually pvp. so many times the teams have been 5/5 but ppl sit out so it turns into a shooting spree. Keep coming up with the great ideas. they sound like alot of fun! anything to make feds start working together more. I seriously don't know why we even call ourselves a "federation" we're anything but...

I really like the ideas here.

Maybe this is something we need to do for "revamping exploration content"?

The exploration sector block should be like a "regular" Sector Block. It would be cool to actually have stars associated with the Crimto and what-you-have alilens, and "exploring" it means flying to different planets. Maybe the difference to a regular Sector Block could be that new stars and systems pop up occassionally - the sector isn't fully charted yet, and you react to long range sensor information and to communication signals. The fixed locations could be used for a few storyline episodes and for some of the Dailies, and the randomly appearing locations would be for exploration missions.

Missions

1.) Hold the Line: (New Fleet Action) K7/Ganalda Station is under attack by enemy forces. Rally to the defense of the station and help prevent the foe from scoring a decisive victory. (Alternatively, could go Open PvP, or be done inversely, where the player is a part of the attack on the enemy station.)

2.) Target Rich Environment: The battle lines are constantly changing in this sector, as both sides push and strive to locate and exploit any potential weaknesses in the enemy's lines. Installations of many kinds help to fuel the war effort of both sides, thus, they become priority targets for the opposition. Launch an attack on such an installation (communications relay, shipyard, supply depot, etc.) and lay waste to a vital enemy holding. (Space missions would be things like the comm relays, shipyards, etc. Ground missions could be included as part of that, or separate, infiltrating enemy bases to plant explosives, stealing data from comm centers, etc.)

3.) The Color of Money (is Gold): Even in times of war, the rare opportunities to relax are pounced upon by the men and women that serve on both sides. Travel to Drozana Station for a little well-deserved R&R. (Play at least X number of games of Dabo OR win X amount of GPL by playing Dabo, bonus for actually scoring a Dabo during the mission. Possible 'side' mission: Cheat/catch someone cheating at the game, which could lead to a brief confrontation on the station.)

Accolades

1.) Can't We All Just Get Along?: Successfully complete the Hold the Line Fleet Action 20 times.

2.) Somebody, Set Us Up The Bomb!: Successfully destroy 20 enemy installations.

3.) I Named My Cargo Bay: Fort Knox: Successfully accumulate X amount of GPL/complete X number of Dabo games.

Flavor: Likely some of the heaviest fighting between the Federation and Klingon Empire would be in this Sector Block, where the war started. Having an active role in a major battle (like at K7/Ganalda), and contributing to the war effort, by destroying important targets, can add to the immersion of participation in the greater conflict. However, all work and no play makes for very dull players, thus, the opportunity to take a little R&R would be a welcome respite.

Idea for ALL Sector Blocks to which both (eventually, any additionaly factions, as well) sides have access.

Mission

On the Front Lines of <insert Sector Block name>: (New Open PvP map/s) Each Sector Block that meets the criteria would get a new planet/location that would represent the front lines of the conflict in that Sector. Jump-In/Jump-Out arrangement, so, no waiting for queues. Each map would have sub-objectives (along with the obvious 'kill the enemy') that, once completed, would yield rewards for the winning side. (Would need minimum number of players (good number is probably 3) on both sides to qualify to 'complete' the mission.... No easy farming by entering an empty instance. <see: Ker'rat>)

Example: 3 Emblems for winning 3 instances of the zone, as a Daily mission. (Can be completed over time, wouldn't have to win 3 consecutive games, but wouldn't get the reward until the player is on the winning side 3 times.)

Accolades

Veteran of the <insert Sector Block name> Conflict: Successfully complete the <insert Sector Block> Open PvP mission 20 times.

Just a thought...
