Playing on the KDF side and also in those rare FvK matches I get as a Fed, it seems that Raptors really fell down in popularity. You rarely see them these days. BoPs remain popular in PuGs, definitely. Probably because uncoordinated Fed PuGs (default assumption) don't deal well with battlecloak.

The cruiser does infact have less burst but with healing being this good and its unlimited never runs out only cds need to refresh.

When I made my "escort" into a resist stacking idiot, and removed all "fun stuff" like tractor and such. It still deal less dmg (maybe I suck huh?) then one of my fleetleaders dps cruiser, if i get snb'ed then my "true" hull value is less, and self buffing resists is not a great way to be a team asset.

Resist Escort.

well when you have skills attributed to antiproton weapons, that can work as a potential issue in my experience.

my flavor of the month for cannon weapons is of course disruptors. i team that up with attack pattern beta 1, alpha 3, Fire on my mark, tactical team, and go down fighting in my alpha strike.

suffice to say, i have seen my ship knock down a healing sci carrier to below 49% in the first run from 9Km.

i cant wait to get my fingers on the defiant retrofit with my new tactical officer, though i kinda wonder what ability im gonna use in that third tactical ensign slot: i already have 2 tactical teams

lol I love my defiant and I think that they do have a role in fleet premades... other escorts not so much but the defiant yes. With the new build we have been running... I have insta incinerated 3 healing cruisers.... do that in your cruisers nothing like a 45k BO3 crit and 4 torpedos in the back to make you pop

Yesterday i had the honor of flying in a group of 4 escourts and one cruiser. Were we the best thing since sliced bread no we were not. But we won 75% of the fights we were in and gave a few premade fleets a run for there money. Never thought i would see 4 eascourts throwing heals to each other to keep us going. hazzerds for the win
