After Series 2, i begun thinking where would be and who would be the antagonist of Series 3:

Series 1 was near DS9, making more useful the DS9 Transwarp power of Ambassadors;
Series 2 was near K7, making more useful the K7 Transwarp power of Consuls;
I saw somewhere that Cryptic was planning on bringing back the Iconians, the Demons of Air and Darkness, and Iconia is in Romulan Space;

And after the last Ask Cryptic (http://www.startrekonline.com/node/2202), you said answered that question of lilravegirl, which asked if will be new dailies in Romulan or Cardassian space, with Yes.

So i came to the conclusion that Series 3 will feature the Iconians as the antagonists and it will be near Starbase 39-Sierra, making more useful the SB 39-Sierra Transwarp power of Envoy.

I won't tell anyone if you want, after i get a substantial profit with that (Everyone have a small Ferengi inside ).

The Iconians seem like a Fleet admiral adversary, My educated guess would be the "federation splintered" faction as made clear by http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=180529. But it is a fact that polls don't always lead to the right conclusion, e.g http://forums.startrekonline.com/pol...sults&pollid=6

Well, you have to factor in what they had already gotten done, and what assets they have, etc. I think that it most likely is going to be Section 31, or the Maquis (Most likely.) You also have to remember though, they also have the Mirror Universe ans Dominion in that Area too, so they might make possible cameos.

Who says an Iconian series would actually have us able to fight the Iconians?

We could fight their followers (who are apparently spread throughout existing factions) and go up against one.

If they're really clever about it, the Iconian who shows up could be literally impossible to defeat and the mission completes when we "die" fighting them, followed by us having a vision from The Prophets with a clue and then waking up in sickbay.

iconians are going to be the end all be all.....we'll see much more content pushed out long before we have the pleasure of meeting them face to face Im sure.

We'll have to unravel the plot and fight off the lackeys till then.

There is no new fed mission content with season 3 on tribble, so I suppose you are wrong.

In all likelihood the Iconians will be introduced in a FE series and then release as end-game baddies in season 4, as suggested on STOked.

i'd like to know if I need to brush the dust off my book of origins. There's an ori tab in the Foundry under NPC groups. Currently empty
