Did anyone else find the two Galors undefeatable? Seriously, I do stuff on elite but have never come across enemies that are undefeatable before. I get one of the Galors down to maybe 55% hull and then they destroy me in three seconds flat despite me having 90% shields and 80% hull. Every time.

Is this a bug?

Very challenging - I liked it. What shocked me was the near immediate group of three follow up escorts. My lowly escort was nearly dead after a near 10 minute fight with the Galors, the the escort team simply devastated me. It sucks being a glass cannon when victimized by such short sighted design consideration.

I was using my Sovereign. Challenge isn't the word lol. Never got one of them below 30% hull. As I said, most of time at around 55% they just say f**k you and blow me away. Even when I seperate them for 1on1.

I was able to beat them without too much trouble with my cruiser. I did have to use several heals though, and it took longer than I expected to defeat them. I guess they just kicked those 2 ships "up a notch."

They were very challenging but I've managed to beat them two out of three times I've tried it.

First time Commander level Eng Advanced: failed, they blew me up and the satellite once the jem'hadar ships joined them (which happens if you blow up one of the galors).

Second time Vice Admiral Sci Normal: success, I used Photonic Fleet on them to give myself some backup.

Third time Klingon Tac Lt Commander Advanced: managed to beat them with extreme luck and tactics - I had to make sure I stayed on one side of the shield that was weakest and then once I punched through I could cause lots of damage to their hulls. Also I let one of them blast away at the satellite (which had some shields) while I took care of the first one. Then I took out the three jem'hadar ships because they blew up pretty easy. Then took out the final Galor (at this point the Satellite was heavily damaged but with no other ships attacking it, I could save them).

I don't think the ships were kicked-up a notch. We're just too programmed to fight 3 frigate level foes rather then 2 standard foes at once. By giving us the 2 standard foes together, and then throwing in the 3 frigates before we killed the second standard it changed the entire play dynamic of the game. I wish they'd do that throughout the game. I'm incredibly tired of the current 3/1/1 pattern used.

Were they firing anti-proton weapons? I remember something from the text indicating that the last satellite had been damaged with that weapon type.

I had to respawn once and nearly lost my away team but managed to complete it with my science captain.

That's weird. Done it on 3 characters so far. Enginer in Excelsior refit ate them alive (antiproton beam boat, weapon power, fire at will). Klingon in Kar'fi had no trouble either, and lowbie sci in low level Nebula just noticed those ships took some time to kill. Gonna do it with lowbie tac/escort later, will be interesting.

Still, frankly, I didn't notice anything out of ordinary in the encounter.
