I think we are definitely need the Ambassador Class if/when we get it we would then have the every class of ship that has been an Enterprise. Ambassador is newer than Excelsior/Constitution/Miranda/Centaur and really does belong in the game. She is a beautiful Heavy Cruiser and we could also have a nice T-5 Refit of her as well. Id gladly pay 1200-2000 C-Points for a beautiful Ambassador Class Ship.

After living through the Nebula testing experience I don't know if I could take having to deal with what they decide to make the Ambassador.

I'd personally love to see the Ambassador as a new T4 cruiser option. I'm getting tired of the whole T3/T5 thing and the game could really use some new designs at ship levels other then 3 and 5. They could do the 4/5 thing like they did with the refits.

This would be soooo much cooler, i really want to see the ambassador in game and hope they turn it out to be like the excelsior in structure as far as ability goes, that would be greeeattt.

While it got quite a bit of player responses, the Devs have so far decided not to comment.

I do think the Ambassador should be another skin variant of the Exploration Cruiser for both Tier 4 and The Tier 5 retrofit.

Yes. It should just be a new costume and that's it. No need to always come up with new ship stats.

(Though if I were to create new stats for the ship, I'd give it a Lt.Cmdr Science, making it the Science equivalent to the Excelsior.)

Totally opposed to it just being a skin honestly because I honestly dont think anyone would wanna have to chose between Ambassador and Galaxy maybe call it a Diplomatic Cruiser or something but it needs to be its own ship type.

Now that they announced they are making it what kinda ship you folks think they will end up having it be

Who knows, mabye an alternate costume for the Excelsior or mabye even a Tier 4 ship.

I believe Dstahl said it was probably going to be a Galaxy variant.
