# 22 great job devs

i loved it i ran it on difficult first time no deaths barely attacked the D7's you move 30km from the roids on a diagnal path when the d7's get to 15 you move true y or x from them on the z plain then approach took 3 passes in an escort.

talk to scotty for the drink got it the first time was easy, but the dialogue from scotty was funny to read. wish the voice was there instead..........hint

i agree with i op i was hoping to do the ring travel again that was very fun and well thought out. the just warp kinda took from it.

all in all great f'n job with the weeklies, keep up the good work.

one last thing i am usually not a fan of time travel in star trek, bust seeing the charectors from the show is awsome. even if you couldn't get the actors from the Origional series i wouldn't mind the actors who did the new movie.

# 23 Not what I hoped for

I mean it was okay even if the ground mission was bugged to hell for me at least. ( I could not hurt the crew members only the Dev so I had to run through a bar fight with my officers on passive each time I went through and more ) Never mind getting one shotted by the large dev and that was on normal difficulty. The rewards? Common. 2 guns that don't equal up to the one we got in a prior mission? Just was not worth the ground aggravation for it. As for the Space part and blowing up the comet. Yea. Disable the D7's then go back to killing comets. At the end when the Klink tries to ram you... just set your power to engines and out run him while killing the last of the fragments.

Best part was I called for support from starfleet and they sent me a Sci vessel. When the D7s where disables it actually went around killing fragments ^_^.

Um...what? I guess I am now living in an alternate universe.
YES! You're in the same universe as me!

We should form a fleet.

And grow epic beards.

My short review:

Slingshot maneuver: Nice idea, but very bad implementation... It doesn't look good, it doesn' feel good, simply it's not cool or fun

Drozana Station part: Standart shoot down enemy groups, well ok whatever... After saving Scotty and walking with him sloooooooooowly over the whole place, like there was everything ok and nothing happened... I needed to get him some piece of tech to get the shields up... ok...... so I walk to the girl and than I need to get her a drink???? REALLYYY? Well the minigame is really crappy compared the previous ones... Ok after getting her the drink she finally gives me the device and this part can end... really nothing fun about it too

Space part, destroying the asteroid (finally!): Ok some more klingon ships warp in and know what: They want to destry me... perhaps the D7 disguise wasn't that good of a choice. Well I concentrated only on taking the asteroid and it's fragment out... After that Drake contacts me and tells me about a Borg temporal node blabla... dohhhhh......... well because slingshot wasn't really fun or cool I just take it and mission done... Nothing great about this part aswell

Overall the whole episode fell flat compared to the rest of the series. Especially the teaser with "Even help from old friends may not be enough..." let me hope for more... did I even get any help from old friends? Can't say I did...

Hated the drinks part , that was just totally pathetic , i would have just shot her and took the item if i could.
Slingshot was easy and was fun.
D7's and Comet , wasnt hard , just shot anything near me lol , was great fun that part.
The reward was lame , or so i thought , the weapon is great now i want to buy more , add them to a merchant please !

# 28 Finally.....

I finally made it through the gravity ring. I had to set it to full impulse and then press the Q key twice to knock back the power two notches this give me the speed and control that I was lacking previously. With other speed settings I was not able to get past the 3rd gravity ring. Hope this can help some others that might have been having the same problem that I was. Good Luck.

Actually, only a few of those ship names were mentioned in TOS - the list is not canon since it was provided in Star Trek - Star Fleet Technical Manual published by Franz Joseph in the 1970s.

So it is not against canon to have an original Constitution class starship named the U.S.S. Reuben James.

I died once in the last battle with the D7s. I flew a Galaxy-x. After I died once, i seperated my saucer section and owned the D7's plus the tank.

The comet, comet parts, and comet min-parts were easy pickings from then on.
