No. I mean your hillarious vanity thread to prove that the devs actually respond that still sits unresponded to.

How's that working out for you?

Now back to the topic at hand:\

Here is EXACTALLY what the cheat is doing.

I was wrong in my first post to assume that having the same name as another targetable was what was preventing a bind. Since then I have been told that what he has actually been going is adding random numbers of spaces at the end of his name.

The effect? People tryng to bind him using the basic bind as in this command (using my name as an example):

/bind 1 target Bug

cannot get a lock on the guy because they put in the name without added spcaes.

If you want to bind him, you have to know the number of spaces he is embedding in the name and put those and the name in quotes so it will register the spaces (a change he could literally make from round to round just like he does his clothes) as in:

/bind 1 target "Bug "

So, in effect to bind him you have to know how many spaces he is using. Then you must use a non-standard method to make your bind work.

Considering its the weekend and the devs pretty much aren't ever online during the weekends it doesn't really demonstrate much.

There was no reason this thread needed to be public, it should have remained between the Devs and the players involved, being unhappy with the response or lack there of is not reason to harass the people in public to get a reason and start a bandwagon against them like has been done.

Considering you like to fight for the upholdment of the ToS wouldn't that fall under the harassment one?
Forgive me for putting my nose where it does not belong but what I read is that this clever lad just has an inconvienient name, he's not trying to exploit the game mechanics in any way... he just happens to enjoy dressing like his escort pets that he named himself after...

Now you play the age card and use the TOS to back up your assertion? Have you ever heard that it takes a community to raise a child?

Besides unless a player has been on vent with the kid there is no way they could know the kid was a little laddie in the first place.

For the record from what I read it's not the players age that people are offeneded by it's the perpetrator's behavior they ganged up on.

Hey everyone it's OK he's only a lad.

At this point the only course of action is to let the dev's handle it, assuming someone actually reported him in game. If he continues to play then that is one dev answer, if he gets a forced name change that is another dev answer.
Faithborn silence means nothing on this matter. For example, how many times did I crash at the end of the first Devidian mission Skirmish? 12.

How many bug reports did I file about Skirmish? 13 total. (It was so bad I made an ingame one and used a form letter that refered to that in game bug report number for the last five)

How many force verifies did I sit through? 12

How many acknowlegements did I get for my bug reports??? 0 yup zero, ziltch, zip, nada, nine, nyet, 13 total gooseeggs. (*to the tune of 12 Days of Christmass* and a cartridge in a bear treee)

Sometimes a lack of responce is a sign of busy hands and little more. Oh and I read in a Dstahl post that they were looking into my issue, but still no official responce to my reports.
