Hello again, everyone!!

I have been playing STO quite a bit lately, and I have decided that I would like to upgrade the Collectors Edition of the game for the heck of it.

I do have a question, though, before I buy the new version.

The version of STO I am currently using is the GameStop Digital Deluxe Edition. It is the base edition which includes the Orignial Series Constitution starter ship for free. I have been playing on this edition for severel months now.

If I uninstall my current edition and install the collectors edition, will I still get the Red Matter bonus from the collectors edition?

Also, will I keep my old account/characters and Cryptic Store purchases?

In other words, will I be able to continue playing as normal, but with the benefits of the collectors edition as well?

you don't need to unistall anything, just redeem the code and everythiing will be applied to your account automatically.

The code from the collectors edition package?

You dont need to uninstall anything, just input the code that came with the game on the STO webpage and it will be added to your account, I bought just about every version to get all the goodies.

Been thinking of that myself. Seen then on the net for 20$USD hard to turn that price down. They had some nice perks.

I've found it for as low as $10

Which is a boon if you are paying month to month because you can pick up a couple boxes and reap the $5 monthly savings....

That's what I did. Got the CE from Amazon for $10, applied the code, got everything, without doing any crazy install/uninstall.
