There goes my girlish figure.

I actually like the B'rel for some reasons, but think the Dev's flubbed the whole cloaked healing aspect.

I just wanted a high tier BoP that looked like a B'rel i couldn't give a poop about specials. giving it a "special cloaki" ruined it. I wish i could just get the B'rel as a skin

Now that I have leveled a klink... I dont think that it is nescesarily that klinks are op, its that the klinks have mastered the art of team work. Was playing BG PvP last night and had a team of pugs... I was healing the shiz out of em and we got no deaths... all I heard was Klingon OP this and klingon OP that.... at the end of the match I had 500k heals and the highest on their team was 100k heals.... uhm sorry but learn to cross heal kthnx... NERF TEAMWORK.

I have found now that no one ques up for FvK nor KvK.... a pvp faction with no PvP leads to things like Kerrat spawn camping LOL

True enough, a skin would be great.

This has been what I wanted from the start as well. Simple reskin. BoP -now heavy BoP lol- is fine the way it is.

Several people clamored on about "how cool would it be to have Chang's BoP?!!!!!" and I guess Cryptic decided that was a bright idea. In return, we got the BoP we have now.

A midst a carrier pet spawn, even more so. There exist tanking and healing BOps right now in this game, and Battle Cloak isn't totally useless now, despite all the counters to it.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying anyone asked for the current version.

Its just that the Cloaked healer idea is a 100% FED idea.... no Klingon would have ever ran like that. Removing 1/5 of a teams DPS is wrong headed. Even if the cloaked healer was able to stay out of detection range (meaning he isn't adding mines or torps... that would be putting you in detection danger) Then he is doing NO damage. On a klink team having one guy doing 20k dmg and 500k in healing... is hurting the team. IMO anyway. A klink Negy can do 300-400 dmg and still heal 500k.... and Well balanced bop can do the same. Sharing heals isn't an issue for klinks now... I think they only people that seemed to think cloaked bop healers where a good idea where people that play mostly fed.

In any case ya the Brel needs to be adjusted... I really still don't get what the big deal would be with a 3-4 sec "de-cloak" when firing heals on others. With all the AOE / Mines / BOL / and FAW firing around these days I doubt anyone playing cloak healer would make it work any better then a healing neggy. In fact it would work much much worse... IMO even a bop that could fire heals while cloaked and remained cloaked would get smoked. One hit in a 27k hull ship and your healing yourself... you are now Doing NOTHING for the team... in fact your likely taking a death, great help there.

If it had proved useful, I think you would have a few Klingons use it.

One thing to consider is that we also got the DSSV and Star Cruiser "clones" - which basically enables Fed-like tactics. THat kinda changes the game plan a little. Together with the already existing carriers you suddenly get a lot of options where "durability" over tradtional "first-strike" KDF becomes viable and might even be more effective.

We might now never learn if it would have happened, especially not if the B'Rels drawbacks aren't reduced to more reasonable levels. (But even if - we might not see a prevalant, as long as there are drawbacks.)

An interesting aspect might be - the less cloaked vessels the KDF uses in an engagement, the less valuable most counter-measures to cloak become. They no longer ruin your plans as much. It would be interesting to see how this interacts with the partially invisibile healer... Does it remain true?

Dear Santa Claus

1- I don't think that Klingon ships need nerfing.

2- Instead I think that Federation ships need some loving, specially escorts, maybe science ships also.

3- Carrier Voquv is fine as it is.

4- Carrier Karfi needs boosting, because atm. it is not very useful.

5- Also please fix B'rel.
