I like the wine and cheese especially, infact I like most french cuisine, but yes the french have acquired a rep in ages past. Oddly enough for all the old jokes they produce some excellent weapons of war.

Let's also not forget that they had a pretty effective and important resistance going on, despite their leaders hissing the white flag to the Germans.

It's kinda sad that this is always forgotten when people ridicule the French. But then, maybe they don't care...

Well, since this thread is now about France.....
They actually had a very good war record until they Self-Nerfed after WWI . (remember Napoleon?) They had insane causalities in The first World War. I mean truly insane. Like every Frenchman died 4 times. So they had enough of the whole war thing & couldn't be bothered with WW2.
I'm not sure what this generations excuse for being so french is though.
And yeah, the french accent is hot.
