ALSO you talk about a pack but i only see 1 image. it cant be a pack if its just one uniform.
I that's supposed to be the Troi skin-tight outfit, then she went on one heck of a diet. That thing looks horrid, I wouldn't put that outfit on a targ

Bump.

This outfit is a hot mess. The idea was great, but the execution was horrible.

Guys, please go back and watch the TNG episodes before they put her in an actual uniform and look at her outfit. It's TIGHT. And I note that there are no permanent wrinkles in it.

Also, I agree, we need the hair, too.

I am not trying to bash Cryptic or their efforts. I think they are well-intentioned and most of their work is good. Having said that, I do think they should go back and retry this one by giving more of the outfits Troi wore as options with it and possibly some hair accessories and/or hair styles. Maybe the hair stuff needs new tech or whatever, and will have to wait (not certain on that).

At least for now, we could be given a few more of the outfits Troi wore throughout the series and perhaps in the films to make the purchase price more worth what you are given for it.

I do appreciate their efforts so far with this, but this is one of those things that the community is clearly asking for more on and expects more from Cryptic on. I think they will listen to us. I have faith in them since clearly the vast majority of the people who have posted have expressed that they expect more from this purchase than was given originally.

I agree that there should be more options for the Troi outfit. I also agree that there needs to be more options for 7 of 9 and T'pol's outfit as well. They each had multiple outfits throughout their shows. Plus, why is T'pol's belt like 2 inches thick? it looks ridiculous.

Seriously, the 7 of 9 outfit with the weird wires in the torso? come on. Still though, it isn't as bad as Troi's with the wrinkles.

I agree with you fully on this. I think the intentions were very good and there is no dispute the artist who did the texture work is very talented. But the folds and bunching and loose material on this outfit is wrong. It does not wear or look like the outfit she wore in the series.

I also have an issue with the idea of a single outfit being labeled a "Pack" that and the cost could have suggested to some more was included, and I myself would have loved to have seen the dress and tights outfit in the Aqua/Teal color released in combonation with hair options. I do hope they will in fact release hair.

I hope your trust is well placed and I am going to lend my faith to it and hope they listen to the people in this thread and re-do the outfit, which as noted is an iconic part of Star Trek, so that it looks and wears correctly.

Ahh, the stealth-tax chestnut. Just a shame most people's first experience with the C-Store is discovering they've paid more than the listed price for their points.

I agree as well. My wife bought this for her character because she always loved the dresses and outfits that Troi wore on the show. They need to give this some adjustments I think.

Also I would like to see the uniform and off-duty outfits just all be universal. The only special slot being the Fleet uniform.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I noticed that the AGT and TMP uniforms are in the NPC options in the Foundry if anyone wants to see them.

I am sorry, but this is epic=fail. I may have gotten it simply because I have spare points to drop, and to fill out my entire costume collection for the hell of it, but...

You guys need to re-focus upon two things for C-Store: Races and Ships. Period. We have BRIDGE PACKS for Klink ships, but NO BLOODY SHIPS TO *REALLY* USE THEM FOR!

Sure, slap a bridge of your choice on x ship to get y look, but Large interiors should be restricted to Cruisers, and maybe some tiers of Science ships, Small restricted to all Escorts but only a few Science, and Medium to all Science and Heavy Escorts and certain Cruiser tiers...Get the idea?

We need restrictions if we're going to be canon here, you guys want canon C-Store stuff like this crud uniform that looks like Garak made it while drunk and stoned when he was high off his brain implant from his Obsidian Order days ....This particular uniform needs an overhaul, period. It's so off that, well, I won't repeat what I just said a sentence ago.

Now, I don't know how the Vulcan and Andorian ships are being fitted, suggestions of T2 or T3, but T4 is a biiiiig gap right now for STO...For the Feds, we have NO choices as Captains but to accept cookie-cutter icon ships from the glory days that SHOULD HAVE BEEN DECOMMISSIONED TEN YEARS AT LEAST BEFORE 2409! Either that, or Gal-X should have been made standard for replacing the Galaxy-Class, in canon, the Sovy replaced the Galaxy, period. I love the new Star Cruisers, but I don't know if my T5 Star Cruiser Captain skill is getting any love from the 25% from the previous Cruiser Captain skill tiers I invested into, and it's STILL NOT ON THE GUI, how the 25% applies to the next tier of the skill branch, does the 25% kick in if you put 5 points into it, or 9? Do you only get the 25% boost at 9 points in each skill along each three-class skill branch, or does putting 5 points give us the bonus without WASTING our points going to 9?

I suggest the Vulcan ship, which looks like a hybrid Cruiser-type ship (the Vulcans made these ships to serve many means, everything from being a badass Cruiser that forms the backbone of a fleet, to being support/science ships to cover for the ones outfitted for taking and dishing damage, and in the three-episode Kir'Shara episode arc of Enterprise in Season 4 for those of you not keeping score, some of these ships, despite being huge, were given a lot of firepower instead of tanking, my guess is that they are genuinely multi-role designs and should be a T4 alternate option for ALL three classes, with a special bonus to each, Cruiser-type Vulcan ships, whatever you decide to call them, should have a bonus to all four power systems just like the T4 Cruiser gets, and they should have an ability that helps them tank damage, or maybe absorbing damage for a short time to avert spikes, or even reflecting damage by having a special shield modulation skill...Escort types should be physically smaller, I suggest the T4 Cruiser type uses the three-hulled design spotted in Agent Daniel's little listing of ships through time where a very large variant of the original Vulcan Cruiser in Enterprise is seen briefly, the Escort type, there is a small Vulcan ship on the forum banner image, use that since it looks small enough to be an Escort, and let it mount what a Defiant can, and give it a special ability to battle cloak or do a towing tractor beam where an enemy in the aft arc of 90 degrees is snagged and dragged around on their original heading which is 99% around you so their forward weapons cannot shoot you, like when the Defiant locked a tractor of this style onto a huge Vor'Cha and dragged it around on a vector that prevented it from locking forward weaponry onto the exposed Defiant for what was roughly 3 minutes...The Science variant should function much like a T4 Science ship does, but give it a special ability to chain-link an energy burst between several ships that does PBAOE damage over a large area, or if solo, it fires a burst that does DOT not too different from the Aceton Field 3 power everyone but Engineer captains get stuck with for a final Cruiser BOFF skill, and don't remind me about stupid-arsed Boarding Party 3 either, those are the only two choices that BOFF's get from Normal recruits to Very Rare, pretty silly to me, I want to fire off a massive Deflector Burst from my Cruiser's huge deflector that is modulated much like in Best of Both Worlds 2 where they used it on Locutus's Cube, the only reason it failed was because it was not being remodulated enough, but if used against non-Borg 40 years later in STO, it should do massive damage but cripple my Auxillary abilities for a length of time...That would be awesome...)...

The Andorian ships I am not too sure about, they seem more combat-focused between having line Cruisers and Escorts, both doing great damage and the line Cruisers taking quite some abuse before giving in as we saw in the Kir'Shara episodes from Enterprise...If we're going to insert these canon ships into the game, DO IT PROPERLY, and make SURE that we get T5 variants for them later on just like the Excelsior and Nebula have, no reason to change things that way. The Vulcan cruisers seem to be quite multi-role, and there are different types to fit all three classes equally, the Andorian ships would seem to follow a slightly more combat-focused role, but they proved they could handle science abilities when Shraan followed Enterprise all the way into the Expanse and back out again at the very end to save Archer's butt, and that was actually THREE Archer owed him at that point in time, if you ask me, having to save him from the Xindi that way was worth two favors, not one

Let's not screw over the Vulcan/Andorian ships for C-Store or even getting them in the game without busting cash...Play nice or don't play, if you ask me, this Troi thing is NOT playing nice with customers and was a deliberate attempt to see if you guys could trick people into buying something just because it was cheap, and then you screwed it all over so it looks like something an 80 year-old would wear instead of going by the show's example. Fix it or refund everyone for it and remove this eye-sore.

This is the only thing you said that that I wanted to point out is wrong. The Excelsior and Miranda classes were around for a hundred years. They were first introduced in the TOS movies and then are seen all over TNG and DS9, especially during the Dominion War. It isn't hard to retrofit a ship with new technology leaving the hull the same. We do that with airplanes and ships all the time in the real world.

Besides who cares about T4 ships or below anyway? You're only a certain rank for a few days before you're promoted and get a new ship.
