triolic enhancers have a random chance to spawn something. a tribble, a devidian, someone from the 23rd century

That explains it! Read the warning label on the side of your pattern enhancers. Side effects may vary.

Consider yourself lucky that it spawned an ally! Next time you just might find a Devidian breathing down your neck. (That would be the ghost of Christmas future.)

That's happened to me twice now. First time was great, She went after the enemy I was fighting.

The second time..., Not So Much..., He went after my Team first, just barely survived that time.

I got a few purple? Tribbles (3) when I was in Grelthor (sp)

Is this something new with this patch or has it always done this?
