One of the Federation's oldest member races has discovered an archeological find in their planet's crust that could solve the greatest mystery of their race, where they came from. However a rather unsavory band of Ferengi have also shown an interest in the expedition and you have to get to the bottom as to why and how they intend to do so.

This is a ground mission primarily and part of a two part series that delves into the history of an entire race. I wanted to do something that bought us back to the roots of Star Trek, discovery, and I hope what with the limitations of the current Foundry bbuild I have started to create a mission that does just that.

I hope you enjoy part one

Ground Mission is EXTREMELY difficult without Bridge Officers helping... and it won't give me Bridge Officers... so yeah... enemies pretty much destroyed me before I could get past the combat...

You don't get bridge officers?

Strange, My testers did. I'll have to see what the problem is, or it might be something your end.

Two part and even overlapping stories work great. Love the old TOS show and I still want the pink dog from them "The Enemy Within"

Recently finished your mission, gave my opinion on it. Was pretty fun, sans for the painful combat:

Since I was bored, I decided to record the mission on my first run through of it. Video is below, about 20 minutes long, so it's not that bad. You could use it to see what/if I did anything wrong, and debug/find grammatical errors without having to go through the mission yourself.

Not entierly sure what happened but I am cleaning it up. As a rule you can't normally run a mission without an away team on foundry.

But wow, my mission got some YT time, I'm glad you enjoyed it. This is going on my favs , thank you so much

I will try to fix the bug for you, maybe a reboot will make sure it doesn't befall another player.

Figured out what the problem is. It's a bug with Tribble/Foundry. If you transfer a character from Holo to Tribble it usually makes your away team equal to the number you had with your last mission on Holo for Foundry missions, if that makes sense
