The difference between this and 10 carrier kvk matches is?

The carriers don't circle, they just park pointed at each other.

But yes, greater rewards for victory in pvp for both sides would help boost the community.

I.E. 1 Emblem for each player on the winning side or something like that.

Also, Separate Premade / Pug Queues would be awesome.
I love the emblem and premade / pug queue idea. I'd much rather grind emblems this way as the PVE dailies are BORING! (well now that i've done them 100's of times).

Yes I do.. I probably get roughly a match every 3 days or so (as opposed to the 5-6 FvF matches I do most days)

However, there are some of my fleetmembers, that do not care for FvK.. Therefore when we're grouped, we dont do it.

Anyways.. I spent more time pewpewing yesterday, so I did 4 FvK matches (PUGging) and 6-7 FvF with a LF group, doing dailies.

And no, I generally dont PvP much more than that. Its getting boring.

And the carriers dont juggle powersettings, they stay at full aux/shields and let their pets do damage

Shouldn't that be the way of a Carrier? All things being equal, are not carriers suppossed to rely on thier "pets" for damage and only really have just have light armenents and "point defense systems" for personal protection? I wonder how they could change the carrier to reflect this ingame?

Hmm.. I have no problem with carriers doing direct damage.. As long as its at the cost of pet effectiveness..

How about tying pet capabilities to ship powerlevels? Or is that to excessive

Actually you haven't played FvF it is a science ships and cruisers though you are seeing more sci in escorts running around.

I do have to say Klingon teams do tend have a little more variety though carriers and bops are the staple.

That would be a interesting idea, but the community as a whole seem resistant to the risk reward of things based on power settings unless its weapons. I believe aux skills should have a drain mechanic like CRF, CSV, FaW, BOv, or 8 beam setups have so that you have to be strategic with a build or use of powers not just spam, spam, and then spam some more.
