Every ship I encounted so far with the Borg and Aegis sets have proven themselves to be very troublesome in PvP.

So what do you think, has it ruined or helped PvP?

Me personally, I think Cryptic should've gave us new weapons to counter the new invulnerability, so people can actually have a chance 1 on 1.

Me personally, I think it has made PvP into even more of a joke where people are harder to kill to the point where 1 on 1s are now impossible and you need 3 or more to drop a person.

Cryptic should've done actual PvP testing with this.

Shh a little secret Cryptic did this hoping people will go back to DPS builds and abandon Healer/Resist builds. :p

Oh so you think its okay for people to be even more invulnerable, huh?

Not like resistance stacking wasn't already a major pain.

The borg shields are completely OP (assuming they are the same as tribble), it won't be long before everyone is using these and the tanking is going to get much, much worse.

The new shields are fine, but I would make a few amendments:

- when the enemy shield fails, the computer should make a large 'beep' from it's speaker, maybe send a text message if the player doesn't wake up?
- the 15 minute afk timer should be extended a bit, maybe 3 hours?
- maybe they could distribute some fan fiction or something to read?
- if you tab out during PvP and tab back into the game, it lags for a bit - that could be fixed? or maybe we could have an in-game web browser?

Other than that, I don't see the problem:
- pvp is now more equal than it's ever been. No longer are there 15-0 victories in 2 minutes.
- escorts are far less squishy, whilst cruisers retain their position at the top of the defensive pile.
- we can all pretend that we're tron!

I guess it might be fair to say that the shielding is just a little bit too powerful in pvp.

Get out the and do some PVE or leave. Why people think they can PVP 100% is beyond me.

Oh God! Did PvP just turn into a lingering slugfest of boring proportions?
Have the new Aegis sets become so rampant already( day one/two) that they are quick on the way to being the needed/must have PvP equipment?
