I was in Ker'Rat yesterday (solo) when I got jumped by a Guramba and a BoP at the spawn point in my LRSV-R. I defeated both of them and only on their second spawn (when they were fresh and my shields and hull were worn down) were they able to take my down. That's without my Armor.

Does my Intrepid hold any sort of crazy OP abilities that I'm not aware of that I was able to take out 2 OP Klings? (Well... we'll give the Guramba more time before the Feddy Bears claim that is OP as well :p)

Give it a week and the few that bothered to buy the Goomba will be retiring it. It'll be about as prevalent (and comical) as a PvP Gal-X.

i notice when i am on a kdf chr and feds get rolled by a klingon team it is always the kdf is op, but when those same players are on fed toon rolling feds and kdf teams then the feds are not op it is just better players.

Reminds me the other day when I was in my Fed Escort. I got 150k damage and the next highest, a KDF escort, got 70k (Tier 2). Clearly OP as I wasn't tripling his score, only doubling it. I cry foul I demand Atari bring me my blanky and a juice!

My personal opinion is that most fed players are highly uncordinated. The reason for this is because most of feds only pvp for their dailys. But once in awhile you that preformed pvp team, that has good communication and they have built their setups around each others strengths and weaknesses.

Now on the subject of cloaks, the only problem that i have is that Klings have battle cloak, which i no can be countered in different ways. But if your are fighting 1-1 and the other person has battle cloak, they will either win or run away from you. I think that to resolve this little issue, feds should get a battle cloak in one of their escourts.

That's silly as hell, dude. First off unless you pull a GTFO Maneuver (Some application of high Engine power and Evasive Maneuver usually), I find people pulling a Battle Cloak to be more of an invitation of destruction. Often I've seen a BoP engage Battle Cloak. I evasive after them. It's not hard to find them, about 50% of the time anyway. And there is a weak ship about 1km away from you with no shields. Eat Torpedos!

Second, I don't think giving one ship battle cloak with fix anything or change anything other then making KDF cry about it, and probably righty so. You'd be taking the improved cloaking of a BoP, but not it's weaker hull, and applying it to the offensive power of a Raptor if you give a Defiant. And if you wanted to give it to the Gal-X...well...I may just go along for that for the laughs.

The "Get Out Of Combat Free" card that people seem to think Battle Cloak is is much easier to accomplish by an Engine Battery and Evasive Maneuvers. And can be done by any ship, and you keep your shields.

Intrepids are probably the ship I hate to fight the most..

I dont fly SV or BOP (or carrier for that matter), so no ablative killing stun for me :/

Man, weak-sauce. If I use your style of comparison, I could claim the Federation is OP since they have an Advanced Escort for which the Klingons have no counter-part at all, totally ignoring the fact that few if any still fly the Advanced Escorts since the two alterantives are far more attractive.

Here, I give you one single thing that you can actually point to that could be an imbalance:

The Klingon Nev'Var vs. the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit:
Neg'Var
Consoles: 4 Engineering, 2 Science, 3 Tactical vs 4 Engineering, 2 Science, 2 Tactical
Special Abilities: Cloak vs Saucer Seperation
Turn Rate: 9 vs 6.
Hull & Shields: Equal

Here, there is your imbalance. These two ships are very similar, both get a special ability, but the Retrofit does have lower maneuverability and less consoles. When it uses its special abilities, it loses hull and shields. (I didn't compare crew values, since for now they are irrelevalant. Maybe Season 4 will change that).

Compared to the other Fed Cruisers, the Neg'Var still seems to come out ahead.

But... i am not actually sure you'll see many Neg'Vars out there. And I don't think you hear about many people whining that it was Neg'Vars superiority that killed them.

It's all about carriers, Bird of Preys and cloak.
