In my mission, "Sleeper Agent", I had a number of NPC Groups put on the 'Lie Flat - Front' emote, so that they would appear to be sleeping. This worked beautifully when previewing my mission in the Editor. However, when I published the mission, the emote didn't occur at all. I couldn't find a work-around, so I had to delete the NPCs and just refer to 'people asleep on the ship'. So disappointed that didn't work!

I had this same problem none of my spawns did their animations. I also noticed that they did not say the Combat Chat text I put in as well.

I noticed this too. This made episodes that rely on them heavily kinda strange.


12/14/10: I was on tribble last night and noticed some emotes weren't working even before publishing but others were.

Also have this. Near as I can tell, Wander, Chat, Idle, and Jobs are all broke in published missions right now.

Agreed. "Planet of the Dancing Borg" will have to be "Planet of Unremarkable Borg" until they fix this one.

Any ETA on when this will be fixed? Also, when it does get fixed, will the changes be automatic, e.g. we go to play our missions and the characters will be doing the animations? Or will we have to republish?

Yah, seriously, one of my missions DEPENDS on these animations working. An ETA would be greatly appreciated.

I'll sign. I have a mission on a starship bridge where I've placed NPCs on chairs doing the Sit-Interact animation where they look like they're sitting and typing.

Despite the difficult task of getting them to line up correctly (and one or two of them seemed to be floating slightly in their seat), the animation was working in editor mode.

When I play the published version, everyone is standing on their chairs doing nothing.

glad to know i'm not the only one having this problem, my mission involves a lot of characters going about jobs due to the station they were on just having been attacked, people wounded or injured, people talking about the attack, guards on security duty, now they all just sit around, some don't even appear where they're supposed to be.
