Well, if you got someone to test with, it's probably indeed better.

Having used your software yesterday for the first time, I can say it's awesome. Well done.

Cool! I'll use it tonight as I'm considering changing my forward configuration.

I just found out that my 'new and improved' setup was actually stronger in front and rear, but weaker on the sides. :/

Guess I'll have to play around with this tool some more.

Just a small update to 0.91. Now Federation ships have a specific picture that match the ship class and tier. I selected the most canon vessel from each tier as the display image. Klingon ships still use the generic unrestricted vessel image (tier 5 cruiser), although I hope to rectify that soon.

In addition, I made it so that when you change ship classes your weapon selections are no longer reset. That way if you make a mistake and choose the wrong ship class, or want to see how your build would work on a different ship class, you don't have to enter all the same weapons again. If you have Dual (Heavy) Cannons equipped and select a new ship class that can't equip them, then Dual Beam Banks will be substituted instead. Obviously, if you choose a ship class that can't equip as many weapons then some of your weapons will still be unequipped as a result. To reset your weapon selections, you can use the reset button at the bottom of each ship entry area.

Torpedo launchers and mine launchers seem to account for 0 DPS.

Great program! Thanks for the effort! Will save a lot of testing time and credits to simulate a configuration. Meh on the .rar file but otherwise... /thumbsup
