So I'm not the only one that thinks kicking the borgs ass is just stupid especially in STF's

Mini games during battle is the solution and option for half of your team to board a cube while the rest continue to fire on it. Doing this for Tactical cubes would be enough for me I think.

Essentially, it forces everyone to join a fleet. Why is that? Maybe someone doesn't want to. It's not the fact that I'd miss those parts, I do belong in a fleet and I am not so thrilled about those parts anyway. But what is the point of having them only if you complete those missions?

They could cost a lot of emblems, or they could be very expensive. Really, I never understood the idea of multiple currency, either! They could also be available if you complete PvP engagements.

The beauty of an MMO game is that you can do whatever you want, any time you want, and still be able to have all the tech/upgrades/artifacts. Devs shouldn't force players to choose between solo play and fleets, or team missions and scripted missions.
hey not only that but the borg tech is identical meaning every one knows what every one has fitted to their ships lol cause of the decals and prosphetics.

haha every single player will eventually be useing the exact same equipment on their ships. its lame and boreing and lacking in thought and planning.

the game needs to go down the sandbox route i say and be crafting heavy. they need grant players some freedom and power over the universe.

allow fleets to construct space stations in the neutral zone. but you cant do that because the whole galaxy map looks feels and acts like a giant restrictive shoe box with limited space.

how can space be limited in space ?????????????? open it up and grant us the illusion that space is infinite.

qoute - eve-online space doesnt feel confining!

the game feels too restrictive and too small for what its name is implying.

Except that's not entirely true. Some people do disable the visuals on certain parts. While not Borg parts, on my ship I tend to disable the Aegis deflector and engine visuals because I think they just look bizzare on a starship, leaving me with the cool Tron lights from the shields. If I were to use the Borg set I'd either keep it all, or disable everything (except for maybe the shields). Different ship captains can feel free to mix and match their look for aesthetic purposes, or possibly to hide what they truly have equipped to other captains. (Though the observant ones will either still know right away, or catch on fast, due to what passive/activated buffs are on the target)

What you say is already being worked on. This has been mentioned a number of times in things like Ask Cryptic. Player run stations is something the Devs are aware players want and it will be done eventually. -When- is another issue, as it's not very Trek for Admirals and Captains to have their own stations. Not saying that on those grounds I object it, I do not, but just saying it is not their first priority. Do not expect it soon.

I have to disagree. I think the game is wonderfully expansive. Maybe not as many sectors of space to explore as EVE, but I think after a year of STO being out it has more plot lines and stories then EVE does now. You seem to want to play EVE Online, you want a total Sandbox game. And while Sandbox is fairly popular, if you want a game that is 99% Sandbox you're barking up the wrong tree. STO will be adding more stabilizability, more interactivity. As someone who's watched it grow since Closed Beta I can say the progress has been admittedly jerky in places but none the less astounding. You can't expect this to have the same things as a game that has been out for coming up on 9 years now. You can however appreciate STO for it's strengths. Or don't, your call.

# 64 borg goodies and the c-store

have not teamed up yet , but will get around to it eventually. as I see it the c-store is an easy cheat for those who do not wish to earn their rewards the correct way. if everyone has "easyequalaccess" because all it takes is a creditcard, the game becomes boring and pointless to play. QAPLA!

A pointless and quite moot argument with the Galaxy-X, Excelsior-R, Defiant-R, Nebula-R, Galaxy-R, Intrepid-R all in the C-Store, not to mention a similar number of the KDF ships also receiving the C-Store treatment.

I am not so concerned about the fact that they're putting ships in the C-Store as I am about the fact that once they're in there they effectively can't be rebalanced (could you imagine the drama if the Excelsior-R had its slots swapped with the Sovereign - the way it should be in canon??)
