# 1 Measuring things
01-06-2011, 07:45 PM
The other day while playing it occurred that me that are some inconsistencies in what measuring system is used in the game, especially ground combat, and I'm not sure why it is this way.

Every time you move around in the map, everything is measure in meters, distance to enemies, allies and so on. But when reading weapons stats, for instance when reading a weapon's knock back effect, the distance is stated in feet. Wouldn't it make more sense to display this in meters instead as everything else in the game is in metric? It's just a minor thing, but it made me curious to ask if there a method behind the madness or if it just happened to be this way? Being comfortable with both the metric and the US system, it doesn't bother me that much, but it might be difficult for some to run that conversion quickly through your head. Maybe it should just say KB 2,5 meters instead of 8 feet?
