I understand the plot isn't appealing to everyone, but I still say the best Connie porn is in TMP. CGI can't compete with a gorgeous model.

I agree, that reveal is what is needed for all ships, it really makes a statement about that ship and what it stands for. If only the Enterprise D or E got that kind of "reveal".

True, but you gotta admit, the model in STO is somewhat lacking. So many little things that are just off with it, I can't help but notice them. I understand they probably can't crank CG quality out of the STO engine, but they can do much better. Especially for this of all ships, perhaps one of the most iconic sci-fi ships of all time.

As for me, I want this. TOS style skin for a Miranda? Oh baby. And then of course a new Miranda style ship for the 25th century. Perhaps using the Excalibur/Vesper parts.

I'd really like them to give the Constitution class model some love. As stated previously in this thread there's some problems with the in-game model. The ships skin (textures) don't look right and the engineering section is missing the botanical garden windows. The Constitution refit is an iconic ship and should look right. They fixed the Galaxy,Sovereign, Intrepid, and Defiant models, so it's time they fixed the Connie Refit as well.

Although I have to admit, the reveal of the new Enterprise in the reboot sure gives the TMP reveal a run for its money I think.

Confused. We already have the retrofit connie. It's one of the options for the second tier cruiser.
