Did you see a decent increase in CD time shortage?
I used PO on a several non-PSW builds for my BoP and found a nice increase in power turn around an just never thought about that until now.
I only recently got into using PSW on my BoP and didn't think about PO before the crash. PSW may have killed my PC.

Mark 2 is enough to kick the 45 second timers into their globals if you are fully skilled. Which is pretty significant depending on what powers you are using. It can mean the difference between popping HE2 again, or HE3 again or a TSS depending on what you're set up with. MK3 is enough to knock 30 secs down to their globals. Which is a great fit for a BOP with a single LT Tac slot on it. PO is still somewhat build specific though in it's most proper applications. Between my BOP, my Recon, and my Karfi I've found it more appropriate on my Karfi, and Recon.

(Note the Voquv is also a very good choice for PO. One of my fleetmates runs mk3 on his)

I have pondered about trying it on a Starcruiser but that would mean using mk1.

For Escorts and +20 overall power. Honestly I think all ships in this game should have +20. It just seems kind of silly really not to. There's a time and place to adhere to 'canon' (yeah right... St adhere to canon... HA that's the only thing consistent about ST is how often it slaps it's own canon in the face!) and there's a time and place for game balance. Without factoring in hull, or shields (which are in theory compensated by speed and turn rate....even though that's not the case either) Cruisers pack just a little more power than everyone, making them by default better.

Then you throw in that not a single engineering power has gotten a kick in the junk... where as the other two professions? heh...... I really don't think I need to make a list of the myriad of kicks to the junk tac and sci have gotten. Which is why Damage Cruisers right now are the most powerful non chain stunning ship type in the game for dps.

once again to balance the game so the feds will win.. lets nurf the carriers..
one they turn like pigs, two only 6 weapons slots.. three can't cloak, four only two hanger slots that only has 4 types for it.
and the sifon and repair are garbage because one science ship can naturalize a carrier abilities..
So the only real effective devices are the fighters and we are going to nurf that..
hey why don't they nurf some fed ships,... think the Phaser lance on the galaxy X need turning down,
Or the weapons load out for the defiant reduced.. Or the excelsior needs to be a cruiser not a heavy escort..
The only ships needing some love upgrade... Sov.. and the Galaxy...
I know lets upgrade the B'rel retrofit to fire a special high yield torp..to replace the down graded carrier.
This torp would have a 2 min cool down like the phaser lance and travel the speed of a photon with the damage of a high yield 3 tri cobalt torp that can't be shot down. with a 25% damage reduction when hitting shields.
To equal the damage they did to the excelsior and enterprise in the movie undisovered country..
Only fair since the defiant can cloak, the galaxy has hull separation, voy has ablative Armour, galaxy X has phaser lance, excelsior has extra tactical slot gives it a cruisers engineer life with a escorts fire power..
Noticed no one says anything about these things when they talk about game balance, as well aegis and borg devices on ships.. so much for very rare to super rare items eh....
Sometimes it shows that cryptic has lost their way with this game and they are just trying to keep whats left of there subs with the lets let everyone have the best gear right from the start..
Hey cryptic lets put all the rare and very rare items and sets in the c-store so you don't have to pretend that items and sets are hard to get...
countdown 4 months and STO will be free to play like champions...

I don't know how effective it is I run a fed Tac officer and a klingon toon as well.. but I've heard talk if you have your weapons power at 125 its effective. I'm just saying that it seems to me every time the klingon players figure a good build out for a design and fed players can't kill it quickly then it has to be nurfed because its to strong yet when you look at the fed side it is unbalanced with all the specials the feds have vs the klingons..
Thats why I think i'm seeing less and less fed / klingon pvp battles. too one sided..

Watch the video, My weapon power is MAXED, Beam Overload II is active and the target is -33 to me.

I did 4k in damage....

As for your other examples, the Defiant R is nick named the "glass cannon" for a reason.
What is that Klingon word you guys like to use to describe the BOP? "Squishy"? yea well, it fits the
Defiant R as well and lacking a "canon" cloak makes a nice get away real hard. Not impossible but harder.

The Galaxy with saucer separation also has reduced abilities, crew and survivability.

The Excelsior, that ship is an odd one. It should really be the Sovereign and with the STO version of the Sovereign a joke, I call that a wash.

In all of my PvP battle matches, Klingon's kill 5x more than their Fed counterparts. Oh its one sided, we just disagree which way it leans.

It did 4k after completely punching through the shields in a second. In other words, 10-15k damage, counting for shield resistances and shield strength. Not bad, but not something I would use against shields. Save it for when the shields are down, and that's scary.

But I agree that it needs either MOAR POWAH! or to at least have the refire rate of a tricobalt or something. Yeesh.

I'll have to go back and check those Rommies but in the best ship for shields, a Science ship, running the best shields available, I can only get 14k so I doubt a Romulan BOP 33 ranks my junior has 10k in shields, nevermind anything higher.

My Galaxy X shields are around 11k so I would be surprised if those Rommies are higher than 6k.
I can do far more damage with BOIII and Dual Anti-Proton Beam Bank X.

Sorry if this has been covered, but will the change to Tactical Team mean it no longer boosts the crew? Also, will the shield balancing quickly even out shield facings if they are uneven when the power is activated, or only as a facing takes damage? Thanks!
