Or is it giant characters look more proportional given the surroundings?
I have a charecter who's max height, but it's more a factor of her being a interesting looking alien (she also has gradiant-colored skin among other things). Personally I'd like to know why so many people who play male Captains make them look like they've been abusing steroids and have huge upper bodies and tiny, goofy-looking legs. (I was going to ask why all the women are stacked, too, but I guess we all already know the answer to that already) :p
well, erm, my initial thought when reading the topic of this thread was a thought that comes up in my own head from time to time. basicly a nebula (which i fly and wanna make babies with cuz its that sexy) is huge, but you only see that when you fight or fly alongside ships that r much smaller like runabout or ... any of the low tier ones. if ever in the future you'll get another ship that flies with you (a real admiral rank) im hoping that its low tier not just because it would be logical that your own ship would be the most powerfull one in any fleet, but also that you get an constant reminder of how huge a ship your flying (unless your flying an escort).
That aside, its true a romulan warbird is bigger then the sove, but then again it has some "wasted space". image pops to mind where a defiant class flies between its bottom n top wing n bombs the crap out of one. in the end, yes a bigger ship has more room for a bigger engine, but if the ship is also huge, it means that a shield gen also needs to protect more of a ship. thats what i would think. cheerz (im hoping that when romulan becomes playable the warbird will be either for engineers (commander n lt commander engi slot) or maybe all universal slots.
