A real nice group of bikers once frequented one of the bars I worked at. They called themselves the Brothers Wonderful and they had a wonderful motto, "If it ain't fun don't do it." Trust me I could not agree with JC, Jackle or Hort more.

My second post was not to argue for or against. I just wanted to assure others that I have no intention to become a fleetmate ganker. I know that if it is not fun to PvP they wont do it. Given that my nerves are still a little raw from a recent bad reaction to PvP I guess I am over compensating.

I'm gonna go be quiet now.

I didn't assume you had posted that as a fleetmate ganker or any other such thing. Just saying that even if you like the idea PvP you don't need a hardcore guy giving you ideas or things to do because they play for a different reason then most do. You can take it from a more casual guy, me, and hopefully be successful in both PvP and PvE. I know doing well in both has made the game that much more enjoyable for me and many others. Now if only we could do something with the content then I would be really happy, lol. Ohh and the targeting bug also please and thank you, the last time I PvP'ed it was a nightmare to stay on target.

Glad to see you're still around Jack. B'Trans's bored me honestly unless we're going in a 5 man team on elite. Going through them on my own eating up the AI just sort of gets... bland. This is a part of the reason why I joined you goys over at PoS. STF's are fun with the right people. Considering Cryptic has alienated a lot of those that used to enjoy them now, it's even harder to find people willing to run them. As much as Becca is cheap and such, she's more of a challenge than she ever used to be. I do think Cryptic could adjust this in a way to let a few more palyers scrape by her fight while still keeping it more than challenging for most others.

When I'm up for dying a bit more, I usually bring the escort. It's a different kind of fun because it draws fire and means I have to react quickly or die faster. The cruiser is more of a relaxed style of play. I can tank a bit better, pop some heals, and do some consistant damage. If I'm up for fast-paced combat, you'll see my Prometheus, other3wise, you'll see my Galaxy X that's there to do some damage while surviving and healing up my team.

In terms of Jack's uber builds, I do like the challenge of facing them. Unlike most, it gives me a chance go size them and find ways that suit me to cobat them better. Sure, I could load up Tyken's, Scramble Sensors, and a ton fo things that might help if I felt the need to compete on the level of Hurley and those guys. I don't though and I have only ever gone out of my way to adapt a build once to specifically combat a single person. Z and her tractor beams completely shutdown my build in a way I hadn't ever faced when it came to the TFBB and PvP so I had to adapt to survive. Ultimately those changes make for some great one-on-ones with me and her. Our Galaxy X's are very well matched as well and these builds work even better when on the same team. Going at each other for about 10 minutes before one dies, then at it again before it evens out, etc can be very enjoyable. In a style of game that glorifies a winner and a loser, it's nice to actually draw amd have a lot of fun doing so. [=

I'll but in here and say these few things:

1. Hort, if you're not going to show up, it's your own fault you're forgotten about.

2. TFBB is primarily intended for us ten-ites to slap each other silly in PvP as we want to, either for fun, to test ship powers (Connie Vs Shuttles, for example), or abilities.

3. I am quite often the only British (possibly even European) to show up consistantly for TFBB. the 2PM US/7PM UK time on weekends suits most tastes/schedules so that people may attend either day.

4. There is no rule 4.

5. TFBB is open to everyone and has it's own channel accessible to the whole wide world, should they choose to add it.

6. It is nether fleet nor faction based, and generally is constructively discussed pre-match and after match not only to decide what we're doing but also what people did wrong.

7. PvP is broke if you do it game-wide as there's either not enough players or it's too unevenly matched.

I'm going to disagree with some of that Dawson so here are my corrections.

1. Hort just doesn't love us as much anymore.
2. The TFBB is intended to be fun (non-serious, non-aggressive) PvP event that anyone is welcome to.
3. Dawson goes to bed too early.
4. Bacon for everyone!
5. You do need to have the game with an active subscription to participate.
6. The events vary based on polls, spir of the moment choices, etc taking into account variety and the personal preferences of those attending each event.
7. Finding a PvP match ins't too difficult. Finding a match you enjoy though however is the rarity, hence the need for the TFBB.

its liek Ravens theme song.. Then after a pount i come back to Enigma Age of Reason and the Rescure Sqaud is no longer to exhausted to rescue or help.. ITs all about the fun again...

Its a bit easier to go as a team when you are in the same faction.. but what we could do is go to kerrat? and all just jump in and fight togther and then against each team?
