Finally had time to throw a mission together; wherein an old enemy discovers a somewhat 'entertaining' way to integrate a new ally into their culture.

The mission blurb is as follows, but things are never quite what they seem...

Quote:
Klingon Intelligence reports a Romulan incursion into the Azure Nebula. Rumours persist that the Romulans have made allies from a distant sector, and the incursion is the first military action of this pact.

Your task is to investigate the incursion, and determine just who these allies are.
Standard disclaimers apply: Some British spellings - I'll be US-ifying them as I go. Haven't tested published pathing on Tribble yet as I haven't got a Level 16 Klingon over there. Once character copy works again, I'll be testing it to destruction.

So, enjoy!

lol the Azure Nebula is gonna get crowded I've already got a Kling mission there and am setting a parallel-to-that Fed mission there also.

I'd be interested to see what you've done with it...maybe we could cross-share "Azure" ideas and have our missions use some of the same locales? You can see my Azure locales are available in "General Keeg" a Klingon mission...and I'll be reusing them in "Escape from General Keeg" (unpub) that has Fed events running parallel to that.

I'll try to access yours (dont have a tribble 16 Kling) and see what you used.

Nothing as grandiose as genuine geography, just a system labelled 'Incursion Point' and associated ground maps. Figure it's a good spot for the Romulans to poke their noses in due to the Empire Defense missions where you get blow them up. Over and over.

Plenty of room in the big blue.

Loved the mission, Heathen! Reminded me of the movie Running Man. I didn't really see anything wrong with the mission, in any respect.

The KDF would be very wise to purchase franchise rights, and use this concept to train all future warriors.

Cheers for the feedback!

Now I've had chance to copy a Klingon character over; I've tweaked a bit of the dialogue and adjusted a few NPC spawns to counter the worst of the pathing problems.

I'm trying it out now. It has the new Romulans in it - forehead ridges, Mogai escorts that launch "cloaking tractor beam mines", etc.

Greetings from Kalec a young commander within the KDF,

I have completed your mission successfully and reviewed it positively, now please check your private messages for some advise that you may or may not use to improve your mission.

Qapla'

Here's a link to my KDF mission, "Shadow of the Warrior" that I hope you enjoy (should you choose to play through it) as much as I enjoyed your mission.
